Eclipse Getaway
The stay was wonderful! An extremely beautiful view, clean and serene space, and everything was provided for. Dave and his family were wonderful, and helped provide everything we could need. Even getting us out of the mud on the first night. Close to some of the best wineries and eats in the area, and a short drive to some very visually stunning parks beyond the lake itself. Their dog, Willy was an extra, added friend to us, and made our trip even more special. - Pete

Incredible stay
Dave was an excellent communicator and host. The cabin was stocked with everything we could have needed and the grounds were not just beautiful, but functional and really well maintained. We had colder, wetter weather than we hoped but the cabin stayed dry and toasty warm throughout the night. We felt so safe, comfortable and relaxed the entire time. We will be back!!

Wonderful stay in this little cabin! Perfect for those who love the outdoors. It had all the amenities to make it comfortable, yet still give you a camping experience. Very clean, and we had an amazing weekend.

Best Hosts Ever
Dave and JoAnn were excellent hosts, and were very responsive and helpful! The cabin is in a great location close to town, yet quiet and private. They even left some fancy treats for our doggy, which was such a sweet gesture. We’d definitely stay here again.

The Grape Escape V2
We had a beautiful, enjoyable and pleasant stay. There were fresh cut flowers in the cabin and everything else we needed. You are close to Hammondsport, all the wineries, and restaurants. It's a little being off the grid with 5G everywhere, so bring a power bank. You patiently make hot water for your needs and if you need to blow-dry your hair this may not be a good fit. If you love having the sounds and sights of nature all around, a little wine and dinner by camp fire - this place has loads of charm with a spectacular view. In town, we met many fellow dog lovers, namely pugs and their variants ; ). Our fawn pug Dixie Doodles loves it so much we have to pry her off the porch to go home. Dave & Joann are wonderful hosts and we look forward to a return stay!

Grape Escape
The stay was just as expected, a small clean cabin that provided many small conveniences that made the "camping" experience easier. The view was gorgeous and we saw a ton of local wildlife including foxes, rabbits, deer, and others. I highly recommend the stay for a single adult or couple looking to unplug and unwind.

This cabin is the perfect way to get away while still being really close to everything. Its just a few miles outside of the village of Hammondsport and you can see the owners home so you know you are not completely remote but it feels very secluded. The site has many nice touches including chair cushions for the outdoor chairs that are stored inside, great porch rockers, plenty of firewood, a single burner stove to heat water for coffee which is included, and plenty of clean fresh water for drinking. There is an outdoor shower and while we were boiling water to make the shower warm enough, the host showed up with 6 gallons of hot water from his home. It was beyond amazing. This was such a fun place to stay. Highly recommend!

Great Escape!
We had such an amazing experience, in a peaceful and beautiful place. Dave was attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. He even took time to show us how to build a proper fire. Thank you for sharing your space, our time there was energizing and inspiring.

Wonderful experience!
Unfortunately, I was unable to go to my booking so I gifted it to my parents instead. THEY LOVED IT! My mom instantly gushed about clean, cute, cozy, and comfortable everything was. She said it was so warm with the heater that she had to get out from under her blankets at night. Dave was extremely kind and helpful! He made sure my parents found the cabin and kept I'm constant communication to ensure if they needed anything, he could assist. My mom gushed about the beautiful view of the lake directly in front of the cabin. My husband and I can't wait until next year to rent the cabin for our anniversary!

The cabin was adorable and the view was breathtaking. It was filled with character and necessities; perfect for the first time camper. A lot of thought and love was put into making this place the perfect place to spend time with your loved one.

Perfect little getaway!
Dave and Joanne thought of everything with this cabin, and were exceptional hosts, even checking in that the heaters provided enough warmth (they did!). Beautiful view, especially with the leaves changing. Close to town, wineries, and breweries, but feels nice and secluded. If you’re looking for an off the grid feel while still being comfortable, this is the spot for you. I will definitely be back!

Glamping with a view.
This property was exactly as advertised. It met our needs perfectly for a few days of R &R. We enjoyed leisurely mornings with coffee on the porch sitting in the comfortable rocking chairs enjoying the amazing view. The owner was very helpful in allowing us to plug in our electric car at his home when Evolve Bath let us down and all four plug ins were not working. This extra helpfulness was certainly appreciated.

Cabin Fun
A couples paradise if you have grown up in New York. Finger Lakes provides a great backdrop and the features of the cabin are simple and very functional. Had such a great time we will return next year.

Was a nice cabin but for the money you pay we could of gotten something nicer with a hot shower

The Grape Escape was our Escape Dream.
1st time Off Grid and it was more than we dreamed. Owners had everything there and more. Tranquility in the evening. And So Close to Hsport and Lake... Bully Hill just a short walk away. Coming back in Fall to enjoy the colors. The owners were fun and available. We Loved It and Highly Recommend. Be Blessed!

Great Glamping Great Location
This is a great place, secluded yet very close to town. Water and firewood was provided which was unexpected. There is no running water or power but there are a lot of solar lights and batteries to charge your devices. It is just the right mix of camping and small conviniences to make it fun and easy.
