"We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!"

"The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags."

Would have preferred TV opposite the bed (not a picture of Polo players ?? ) Only had a bar meal which wasn’t great. Did not use the other restaurant as took advantage of fine weather and dined out in Bowness Lovely outside chill out area plenty of seating all the staff were lovely and very helpful. Shame the music aimed at 30- 40 plus (young professionals) which was fine but some a bit repetitive. Am sure a residential piano/keyboard/ saxophone player would add to the ambience of this hotel. Excellent distance to walk into Bowness Really enjoyable stay"
