My stay was ok. I was very upset to be charged for a nights stay. Upon arriving they said that they did not accept the payment made through this site and I would be refunded my money only to be charged in cash at the hotel. I showed the room was paid for and they did not accept that as payment even though my card was charged.

Even though the property is spectacularly located, the facilities leave alot to desire. The bathroom in the bedroom is way too small, felt like an RV bathroom, if you are a big guy I would not recommend it

Property was in the center of the city which made it convenient to get to places faster. There is no sign or and indication that the “hotel” is located where it actually is. I wouldn’t really call it a hotel due to the fact that it is just about 4 rooms in a hole in the wall. Bathroom was pretty bad but understandable in terms of them wanting to keep the property “historical”. Could definitely be worse. Overall not bad.

There are only 4 rooms in this hotel, mine had a balcony to the street, that was very noisy, the price is ok for what you get, there are a lot of hotels close by but yo will get almost the same. If you lease a car DO not stay in this hotel because there is no parking, I will recommend to use taxis is a lot cheaper, safe and fast, the streets in Guanajuato are very narrow, not parking so you will have a hard time driving.

Perfect location with a tiny bathroom
Location is perfect, near the garden. Maria can speak English and is extremely helpful. The cleaning lady, Maria's mom, is nice and helped me washing my clothes at a cost. What I didn't like is the bathroom. It is especially designed to suit the style, which is too small and the rear space is totally wasted.

great location...
but what an odd room! the 'bathroom' we nic-named "the spaceship" because it was a plastic pod plopped down down in the corner of the room...sink, toilet and shower all designed to fit into a space capsule. Neither wife or I are large, fortunately, because we simply wouldn't be able to get in the door if we were. The youngsters at the desk were pleasant and helpful. this is a four room boutique 'hotel' and a converted house which explains the bizarre facilities.

VERY DISAPPOINTED ! 4 rooms w no lobby and no amenities. Funky train style bathroom dropped into room. Remodeled inappropriately with bamboo floors in a historical setting. Put a damper on our trip for sure. Staff was stuck in a tiny corner. They were great but their working conditions are not good. Location was perfect but we wanted a lovely vacation and this place did not provide

Excellent ubication, in the heart of Guanajuato
The most important aspect is that the hotel is a few steps from Teatro Juarez, the main plaza, restaurants, coffe shops, etc, everything is close. There are only 4 rooms, but they are clean with king size beds, and our room had a balcony with a spectacular view of the city and "el monumento al Pipila"; just the bathroom is a little annoying because is like a mini room, but you get used to it. I´d like to say that the hotel staff is very friendly, they do not skimp on helping you with information about tours, or just if you need water, an iron, a fan. Something to consider about guanajuato is that is a colonial city so the buildings are old but charming, so don´t expect modern hotels in the city center, considering that, Mansión Von Humboldt is great place to stay.

Mencionan que tienen convenio de estacionamiento en el que supuestamente te cobran 45 pesos, pero al final te cobran muchísimo mas porque el horario del estacionamiento "con el convenio" no coincide con el horario de check-in check-out; además de que queda lejos. Las puertas no cierran bien, el baño es muy pequeño y sin privacidad.

Me pareció que me otorgaron una habitación distinta a la de la fotografía. Eso lo puedo entender debido a que existen varias, pero deberían mostrar las fotos de la que personalmente te van a otorgar. Y al llegar al establecimiento me cobraron más dinero del que mencionaba en Expedia que debía pagar, no entendí bien por qué sin embargo lo tuve que pagar.

Buena ubicación, cuarto bonito con balcones a la calle. Sin embargo todo eso pesa menos en la balanza al publicase por Expedía y ser un establecimiento que no emite facturas, pero si te cobra los impuestos como cualquier otro hotel. De las instalaciones el baño, que presumen es de diseñador genera olores a drenaje, adicional que tal vez esté echo por un diseñador de cuerpo pequeño. Personas físicamente corpulentas no se pueden bañar, inicialmente no pueden ni entrar al baño. No lo recomiendo si necesitan comprobar gastos ante SAT y si eres una persona de tamaño mayor a 1.80 y pesa más de 90 kilos.

En general es bueno. La ubicación es perfecta para conocer todo el centro de la cuidad. Lamentablemente (como la mayoría de los hoteles) no cuenta con estacionamiento propio. La habitación esta habilitada para hotel, porque el edificio esta catalogado, es decir no es una habitación de lujo, pero es bueno para pasar la noche y conocer muchos lugares de la cuidad.

El lugar es acogedor y súper céntrico, todo te queda a la mano. El detalle de que el baño es de "diseñador" es aceptable el único problema es que se tira agua afuera. Por todo lo demás el Hotel está perfecto para una noche de descanso.

Me gusto la ubicacion, a pesar del ruido del antro que esta enfrente, pues esa no es culpa del hotel, el ruido se aisla un poco, pero si es muy fuerte. Lo que no me gusto para nada es el baño, hace que huela mal el cuarto y no me dio confianza, esta muy desgastado y da mal aspecto.

Las habitaciones son grandes, el baño es portátil y por ende incómodo, ya que no se puede remodelar por cuestiones de sitios y ubicaciones históricos, del resto en general bien. Puntos extras al servicio del joven Francisco que se porto muy amable y siempre pendiente de nosotros. Ubicación privilegiada, a media esquina del teatro Juárez.

El hotel en general es muy bonito, por el tipo de construcción hay muchas escaleras un inconveniente para personas de edad avanzada o de capacidades diferentes. Excelente servicio. no tiene estacionamiento pero por un precio aparte te llevan tu carro a una pencion, como la ubicación del hotel es muy céntrica no ocupas tu vehiculo.

No volvería a hospedarme en este hotel, el baño es demasiado pequeño e incómodo, el personal son jóvenes no mayores de 20 años. El hotel se encuentra exactamente enfrente de un antro, por lo cual dormimos muy mal pues el ruido me despertaba en la madrugada, incluso un día le tocó ver una pelea afuera de ese antro a las 2 de la mañana. El peor inconveniente que tuve fue que el primer día me tuve que bañar con agua fría porque el boiler se apagó y nadie atendió esa situación, definitivamente no vale lo que pague por la estancia, lo único bueno que tiene es la ubicación.

При заселении в отель учитывайте, что стойка регистрации работает не круглосуточно. Так если вы приедете с 2 до 7 am, вы можете оказаться перед закрытой дверью. На двери, кстати, нет вывески, что это отель, и поэтому закрытая дверь может породить сомнение, что вы приехали не туда. Но всё правильно, вы просто приехали не во время. В отеле мне понравилась комната No 4. Она светлая, просторная, с видом на улочки и гору. Туалет с душем вагонного типа (своеобразный шкаф в углу комнаты, местами потрепанный). Горячей воды нет, хотя на ресепшене говорят, что есть (может и есть, но разница с холодной водой в 2-3 градуса). До этой комнаты видел другую, в ней останавливаться не захотел, совсем грустная. Что касается места, где находится отель, то оно потрясающее. Очень удобно гулять по городу, покупать продукты, приезжать-уезжать на такси.

En absoluto lo que esperaba. Es un hotel con una excelente ubicacion, punto. Los baños son una porqueria, inundan de olores la habitacion,la ropa de cama olia mal, no hay agua para beber en los cuartos, no hay closet (ni escpacio/ganchos suficientes para colgar ropa) aunque vayas de fin de semana. Vamos, no tiene nada agradable quedarse ahi, excepto por la unicacion. Adicionalmente, por la madrugada del sabado llegamos de bailar y nadie nos abria por mas que tocamos el timbre y la puerta. Tardamos mas de 10 minutos en entrar pues tuvimos que buscar su numero de telefono en internet, porque encima el que venia en la reservacion era de una ex-empleada!!! y no del frontdesk del hotel. En definitiva NO regreso a ese hotel.

Nos encanto este lugar. Limpio, diseno bonito, lugar centro. Los banos son chiquitos pero limpios y no pasamos mucho tiempo en el bano. El cuarto muy amplio. La cama poco duro, pero dormimos bien. Las personas en el mostrador parecen desinteresados, que casi ni sonrisa dan a los clientes llegando y saliendo, ya que estan tan ocupados con su telefono y correo electronico, pero si les piden algo dan buen servicio. No tuvimos nungun problema, y recomendamos este lugar The desk people dont speak english. That is not a critisim, just that americans going to the heart of mexico should not have that expectation..

Un gran hotel con algunos pequeños inconvenientes
Un hotel bonito, el baño como todos los comentarios mencionan es un poco complicado ya que es realmente muy muy pequeño y necesitas estar con una persona de confianza porque se escucha todo. Lo mejor del hotel (ademas de su decoración) es la cercanía al centro de la ciudad, tienen una ubicación fantástica donde tienes una gran parte de las atracciones de guanajuato a la vuelta de la esquina (literalmente). El servicio es bueno y te ofrecen actividades muy bien planeadas. NO tiene estacionamiento como la mayoría de hoteles en guanajuato pero tienen convenios con pensiones. Si es posible pidan la habitación tipo suite ya que es la que tiene la mejor vista y aisla bastante bien el ruido exterior.
