"L'endroit est situé dans un très beau jardin tropical (d'où le nom de la propriété). Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire qui gère l'endroit avec son fils. L'endroit est sans chichis mais les chambres/apparts sont vastes et bien agencés. La vue sur la mer et le massif de la Soufrière est fantastique et nous avons pu assister à une superbe coucher de soleil"

"Nous avons passé trois superbes semaines chez Ghislaine. En dehors du fait que le gite est idéalement situé pour rayonner sur la Basse-Terre et sur la Grande-Terre, celui-ci se trouve dans un environnement calme et près de nombreux sentiers de randonnée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse de Ghislaine, sa discrétion, sa disponibilité et ses nombreux conseils."

"Maison propre, seul petit bémol : les insectes dans la piscine mais c'était un détail comparé a la propreté du logement ! Villa située dans le fond de Sainte Rose, donc sécurisée, Guy Pierre met tout à disposition pour qu'on puisse passer un bon séjour et le petit + c'est qu'il y a des commerces a moins de 500 m à pied ! Je recommande !"

"The space was clean and modern, with all the amenities you'd need (air con, hot water, etc.) Guy-Pierre and his wife were really lovely hosts who made us feel welcome and helped us with anything we needed. Location was peaceful with a big supermarket and little market a 5 minute walk away, and a beautiful beach with lots of walks was also 5 minutes away! The wifi was quite slow, especially when there were lots of people using it, but 4G worked ok. Thanks for having us!"

"This was the final stop on our journey (and our most anticipated). We stayed in Deshaies to experience the “Death in Paradise” primary filming location. The property was a little haven to rest, have coffee in the AM and just chill from a busy day. It was very comfortable, great showers (inside and outside), awesome eating space outside and wonderful owners. We did not use them, but also has a small private pool and hot tub. Both looked nice. "We had a wonderful stay in one of Victoria's and Yves' apartments. The view from the outdoor kitchen and sitting area over the Garden of Eden like garden with swimming pool was one of the best we ever had. The apartments are just a 5 minutes drive down to the Jacques Cousteau reserve and Malendure beach and within an hour you can explore the pristine beaches north of Deshaies or any other place of interest on the Basse-Terre island. We can definitely recommend this place and will for sur return...

"We had a lovely restful vacation at Les Vanilles. Clarisse is an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful. The gite is just right for a relaxing holiday for a couple- quiet, comfortable, and well located for exploring the Deshaies area & west coast of Basse Terre. We particularly enjoyed walking the coastal trail from Deshaies north to Grande Anse & beyond to beaches to the north, and swimming/snorkelling at local beaches."
