Romantic Grade C Listed Tower, Sea Views, Stunning Bathroom

This stunning 1880's sandstone Tower with one bed luxury apartment attached is full of character.

The "West End" of Greenock is full of mansions, with leafy tree lined streets.

Not far from Gourock, 9 min walk to the sea, 37 min on the train to Glasgow and 40 min drive to Loch Lomand.

Through the private entrance and courtyard, up the golden spiral staircase you can either take the steps to the top of "The Tower" for far reaching views over the Clyde estuary to the Trossachs and beyond.

Take the door to your left and you will find a bedroom with an oversized solid timber framed bed with a 55" TV.
Netflix, Prime, included.

The newly finished bathroom suite consists of an 1100 x 1800 "2 person" whirlpool bath, fully adjustable led lighting with Alexa providing your choice of music.

In the living room you have a very comfortable "Stressless" suite, with a 60" TV, with Virgin, Netflix, & Prime subscriptions.

In the functional kitchen, there is an oven, microwave, washer/dryer, and dining facilities.

There is also mesh wifi throughout the property.

Tower Get Away
Steve was an excellent host! Great communications and always responded promptly to any emails. The apartment is within walking distance of Battery Park and the river front. It’s a short walk into Gourock which has good cafes and restaurants as well as a Co Op and Sainsbury markets. This is a great place for a romantic get away for a young couple. The steps up into the bathtub shower combination could be challenging for an older couple if they had mobility issues. The access to the tower room is via a ladder which again could be difficult for an older couple to navigate. These would be the only things that could be an issue for older adults. My sister and I are both in our mid to late 60’s. Even with the challenges of the ladder and accessing the tub shower, we enjoyed the property. Overall, a very comfortable apartment.

Great place to stay
The listing is as described. The kitchen is well stocked with great coffee. It was nice having access to Ferry tickets. There are some pretty good restaurant options in the area. There are great trails when you take the ferry over to Hunter’s Quay. The shower is awesome! We were very pleased with our stay.

Very nice and special place
This tower is really a very nice and special place and we enjoyed it very much! A great mixture between a historic house and some modern conveniences like the bathroom and large TVs. From the appartment is is a 10 min. walk to a nice viewpoint on the hill and same to the train station. The areas is rather quiet besides some cars passing in the morning.
