Spent 2 nights on the Fuji view room with private hot spring, the room is spacious for 2 even for 4, the king size beds are excellent, pillows and blanket are top class, you can see the fuji mountain lying on bed if the weather allows, but unfortunately, 1 small building has blocked some part of it (very small portion), but u can go to the top floor shared area to take pictures with better angle ~ The private hot spring is nice with view of fuji mountain, but it takes time to accumulate hot water, its refreshing ~ the only compliant is that if you are not taking a taxi to the hotel, you will need to spend sometime finding the road or the entrance of the hotel ~ you may find convienient store around and a bus stop nearby which u can take free bus to outlet or a ride to other major area ~ 9/10 recommended ~

Gotemba, what a wonderful place to relax.
Fabulous! Pleasant staff. Nice onsen in house. Great view of Mount Fuji from our room. The breakfast at the hotel was superb. Close to many convenient stores and Gotemba Premium Outlets. Easy access from this hotel.

Very beautiful hotel. The hotel in Gotenba, Japan is very nice, but also conveniently located on the main highway. It offers a beautiful view of Mt Fuji and Hakone, making it a perfect choice for nature lovers. Additionally, it is very close to the premium outlet, providing easy access for shopping enthusiasts.

We loved our stay at Mars Garden Wood Gotemba- the onsen was beautiful and peaceful. The koi pond and water show were so fun to watch. The room was spacious and the hotel full of amenities we appreciated.

Family of 4 found the rooms to be spacious, clean and could use an update. The location is 6 min walking distance to grocery store but the area has limited restaurants. The breakfast at the restaurant was a nice treat, the food was good. Staff and service are professional, helpful and speak English. We were looking forward to using the foot bath but unfortunately it was under maintenance. We frequented the public baths and enjoyed the spa amenities.

Very beautiful hotel. Furnishings are new and modern. Grounds and garden are immaculate. Hot bath has a sauna, mizuburo, and rotenburo. Very good value. Would stay again.

One of the newer facilities in the area (as of 2023). The rooms were spacious and the views were great. Amenities were new and nice. Breakfast was great. Close proximity to Gotemba premium outlet stores.

All good with sufficient amenities, clean room and good services. The front desk receptionist can speak fluent English which is much appreciate. Also, the location is good to view Mountain Fuji or near a big outlet.

It was an excellent stay in Mars Garden Wood. We can see Mt.Fuji clearly from the bed. Breakfast is nice to have. All the staff in the hotel are kind. The price is a little expensive but it helps the quiet and calm atmosphere.

All around wonderful experience
Phenomenal customer service! I travel a lot and this was honestly one of the most attentive and welcoming customer service experiences I’ve ever had. We booked a last minute stay with NO baggage or anything and I guess staff noticed it enough to bring phone chargers to our room, without our asking! We may have mentioned it in front of them without realizing but they picked up on it and even brought the correct chargers for our phones. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, professional, and kind. I am 100% returning for another visit.

The staff was very polite and friendly. The onsen/bath was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. It is a bit pricey so I would strongly suggest that you arrive early and use the facility to the fullest.

Gorgeous views on the high floors
A beautiful place with stunning views of Mt Fuji - the service was outstanding and the included Japanese breakfast was great. The place is a little old, but that doesn't really matter since it's still 5 star quality and cleanliness. The area however is a little isolated and hard to find - definitely book their free shuttle services from the train station and or the outlets!

6 stars hotel
Excellent stay. Felt exclusive. 4.5 stars hotel feels more like 6 stars in Australia. Night time fountain show is amazing. Breakfast is traditional Japanese, I would prefer a much more contemporary approach buffet breakfast style. Will still come back to stay but no traditional breakfast.
