Enjoyable stay
"Welcomed with a smile, very quickly checked in. Room very clean, smelt fresh. Staff friendly in the bar. Grounds a little tired looking but obviously doesn’t affect stay. Will definitely stay again and would recommend."

"A lovely couple of nights, and we now hope to return in the future for a longer stay.
All the staff, in reception and bar / restaurant were very friendly and professional. Food was delicious.
The area at the lakeside is stunning where you can watch both wildlife and water sports.
The studio lodge was very comfortable and well appointed with sitting area and small kitchen.
A bus stop is at the entrance to the site with regular buses between Lancaster and Kendal and I believe onto Windamere "
"What can I say. Our stay was one of the best, if not the best stay I have ever had. I love this hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful food, beautiful building. I want to give a special mention to Thomas and Flo on reception. They were incredible. Breakfast to go was ready for 5.00am (we were hiking the three peaks) and nothing was too much for these two staff. Flo was so helpful and friendly and Thomas was such a delight to deal with. The spa: WOW! Pricey but worth it. Wonderful. I’ll see this hotel soon! "

"Would never hesitate about staying at this hotel. Everything was great. Staff friendly and efficient. Bathroom clean and well appointed. Meals delicious but menu a bit limited and the same every day."
"An excellent stay once again in Lancaster House Hotel. The room we had was perfect for all the amenities in the hotel(room 10). It was very clean and an excellent bed 🛌 👌 we both had a great sleep. We decided to have dinner in Sandemans Bar after checking reviews about the new evening menu in the foodworks restaurant. My Fleetwood fish & chips were gorgeous and the wife's pasta dish with chicken was lovely and tasty. The full lancashire breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice with cereals & toast. We enjoyed the sandpiper spa facilities very much. We will definitely recommend it and will return again. "
