Architectural design is nice. Not sterile and generic. Old books in lobby are a great idea! Exceptional staff. Pet friendly. Relaxed, friendly environment prompts the guests to greet greet one other.

The Inn at Gig Harbor is a nice quiet Hotel with a friendly staff, great breakfast, and very easy to get in and out out. The Hotel is close to eateries and businesses.

Our room was clean and comfortable but we did not get the room we booked online with a separate area with a couch and TV and we were disappointed to be told all suites are considered equal when booked. Ours just had a chair and desk. Our room was next to a highway so it was loud and we had trouble sleeping. The staff were nice and the breakfast room and continental breakfast was nice. The hotel has a feel of once being rather grand but could use an update.

The entire staff was excellent. Front desk staff was very courteous and promptly addressed our questions and needs. Large rooms in great condition, and most comfortable pillows I've experiences (which is a rarity in hotels). Breakfast arrangement and choices were good and the area was clean. Three improvement requests: 1) absolutely need a hook or towel bar next to shower stall to hang the towel (currently have to put towel on the floor or unsafely reach all the way to the counter). 2) install a handle on the wall at the shower to aid climbing in and out. 3) put a 2nd easy chair in these large rooms - typically most of the time at least 2 people in the room, correct? No one wants to relax in a desk chair. Overall - great experience, we will stay again and recommend to others.
