Short walk to everything! Over Gatlinburg Tram up the mountain, Convention center, abundance of restaurants. River view is looking at another hotel with a little river in between but city view is wide panorama od the mountains and town! Such a cute place! Tiny pool but wonderful fire pits! Apple cider and cookies every night. Loved that. Continental breakfast but the most amazing breakfast place right around the corner. It's a yes for me.

Will return to the Bearskin
Welcoming staff, clean throughout. Decor was lodge-like. Weather didn't allow use of the pool or lazy river but the fire pits were a nice touch. Continental breakfast was good would have liked a waffle/pancake option. Coffee was perfect. Apple cider and cookies in the lobby were a nice touch. Location was great and we had a balcony over the river.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Extremely pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. There's no doubt, my wife and I will make Bearskin Lodge our first choice for future visits.

The property was a little smaller and more dated than we anticipated but it ended up working out well. We really liked its location and the room was bigger and more comfortable than others. The breakfast was sufficient and easy. Overall we liked the property.

Great place to stay and great location. Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Right next to Smokey Mtn national park. It was awesome to be able to take the Gatlinburg bypass which is right next to the hotel to avoid the congestion of the town and get to Pigeon Forge easier. Our only complaint is the complimentary breakfast. It is so basic, not much choice and the dining room is cramped. Other hotels are doing much better in this category. If they got that right, it would be an A all the way.

Great family friendly place to stay with nice staff! Rooms were very spacious and clean. Corridors could use an upgrade carpet is worn and stained but bedrooms have nice hardwood floors!

The front desk was so accommodating and helpful when we checked in to help us make a change in our reservation! They also are a wealth of knowledge for the area and getting around! Decor is authentic lodge like and the room was clean!

The ambiance was top notch. This hotel is located literally just outside the entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park and the rustic ambiance was fitting. Also, the river view from our balcony was peaceful. We had coffee on the balcony before breakfast, and drinks there before going to bed. The lazy river was a great way to unwind and soothe muscles sore from walking to and from town. Speaking of town, it's just short of a mile from the hotel to the opposite side of town. No car needed until it's time to go home!
