"Convienent and accessable to food and freeways."

"The hotel is in an economically depressed part of Eureka, but we still felt safe on the hotel grounds. The hotel has plenty of parking and a beautiful secured courtyard. The courtyard has a lushly landscaped Koi pond with a little walking bridge over it. Hiding amongst the lush plantings there are frogs who sing at night. James at the front desk was very upbeat and helpful when we checked in. The young lady at the front desk ( I am sorry, I don't recall her name) was very accommodating when i asked about when the Koi were fed. She checked with maintenance for me and as we walked back to our room, Bob, offered to feed the Koi then for us. We chose a room with a jet tub and it was spacious and clean. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Front desk people were very friendly, offered room choices, very easy and pleasant check-in experience. Room was clean and inviting. Japanese restaurant was amazing! Casino was the cleanest and nicest I have ever seen! "

"The hotel was very nice and updated had great breakfast choices, love the waffles. The room was clean and quite it’s right off the 101 so it very convenient location for visiting the redwoods. Close to old town but not walkable to old town unless you want to get a long walk in. Lots of dining options nearby. We look for Holiday inn express on many of our travels because they are very predictable on what to expect."

"I got this room for an early flight out of the airport. The airport was very close, and it made it much easier for me to fly out. And as often as flights are delayed out of the Arcata airport, it is nice to have something close by."
