Perfect break with mum
What a beautiful villa in a lovely quiet location. Just the 2 of us but obviously loads of room for 8 people. Exceptionally well equipped, we didn’t need anything. Pool is fabulous, outside space is lovely sitting out on comfy sofas in the evening, eating inside and out is easy as plenty of dining space to suit your mood. We will definitely come again and thinking of bringing the family.

Fabulous Getaway
My wife and I had the most fabulous peaceful getaway together in this beautiful well equipped villa. The location was secluded and quiet, and everything so clean and to a very high standard, just what we were looking for as an escape from our everyday busy lives. The villa was spacious and set in its own walled gardens and was just perfect, having everything we could have wanted on hand. Also the indoor pool was such a bonus as we were able to open up all the doors on a hot sunny day (plenty of those) but perfect for when there was a Fuerteventura breeze blowing some afternoons. The villa is ideally situated in the sleepy village of El Roque and only a stones throw away from the costal town and beaches of El Cotillo, which has a nice feel to it and a good selection of shops bars and restaurants, ideal for all our needs. Also it is only a short car journey to the larger town of Corralejo and the sand dunes and beaches of the East coast. If you are looking for that perfect peaceful getaway, then this is the place for you. Also Stewart and Tanya who own and rent out this villa and live not too far away, are the most welcoming and helpful of people you could wish to meet and nothing is too much trouble should you need them. The best villa that we have holidayed in.
The location is perfectly situated with just a short drive into El Cotillo, Lajares and a little further to Corralejo and La Oliva. The property itself had recently been refurbished and felt like new. The kitchen had everything that we needed and had all modern appliances. The huge lounge was great with a very high ceiling helping to cool it. The smart TV was very useful some evenings if we didn't go out and the wifi was fine with just the occasional blip. New mattresses in the bedrooms made it very comfortable for sleeping, each having a fan. I would say that air con in the bedrooms is the only thing missing although some people prefer not to have it. The indoor pool was a perfect temperature. We were unsure if we were going to like an indoor pool as opposed to an outdoor one but in the end we felt that it was better. The outdoor space is great for relaxing with a book, with plenty of shade and loungers if you are a sun lover. Stewart and Tanya are lovely people and not to far away if you need help although we only called on them once to help reset the TV which they did for us over the phone This spacious villa makes you feel like a rock star, you won't be disappointed. Family holiday
The villa was beautiful , very clean, modern and spacious with a fantastic pool leading out to a sitting area outside. We had everything we needed and Stewart was just a phone call away. As a big family the villa met all our needs and I’d definitely recommend it. I would say that even though you can walk to the shops, the area is quite remote so a car would be needed to venture further. Definitely we would come back.

Relied on old reviews, needs work
Nice quiet location and big villa, unfortunately we relied on old reviews as there was nothing more recent. I can see how the villa a couple of years ago was excellent but now it’s a bit tired. Blinds in the lounge are yellowed and broken so you cannot close at night, mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the front door had to be locked to stay closed, the door to the master en-suite did not close. Dishwasher dispenser didn’t work and you had to light some hob rings with a match as the igniter didn’t work. Wi-Fi is available but you have to pay extra for it at an expensive rate. The worst part for us was being told the day before arrival that the pool heating had broken. The indoor pool was the main reason we had booked the villa to enjoy time with the kids in there. It had broken on the Monday and we were told on the Wednesday. As it was over Easter we were told it couldn’t be fixed. On arrival some of us tried to use the pool but it was just too cold as with no heating and the sun not shining on it to heat, the temp had dropped. It hovered around 21 degrees. We asked to leave the morning after arrival due to this but were told by the owner we were unable to cancel and would have to forfeit the amount paid less 200 euro. We ended up staying as couldn’t afford to pay for our holiday twice and made the most of our time there by driving to the beach instead. The pool warmed a bit with the weather but didn’t get above 23 degrees all week despite the fact we keep all the doors closed as advised so was still too cold for most of the party. We definitely left disappointed at the amount we had paid for the facilities advertised not to be available.

Please do not rent your property to this group. Unfortunately they decided to try and find fault with everything possible as basically being unhappy with the cloudy weather they experienced during the first few days of there holiday. There was a problem with the pool heating which has now been resolved but as they arrived on maundy Thursday and it was impossible to arrange repair over the Easter period. We try and resolve any problem immediately but sometimes clouds and bank holidays are beyond our control. We look forward to welcoming our returning guests next week.

Having rented many villas over the years, this is one of the best we have stayed in and made even more so by the ease of contact with the owner. Pool was a little cool to start with but was soon sorted out and enjoyed most days. Fabulous location for walking down to the coast, shame there is not a restaurant in the village but plenty of choice a short, 5 minute drive away in El Cottillo or 20-25 minute walk. Very well equipped kitchen, ideal for cooking for a number of people. If booking as a group with friends in future, will certainly book again. Thank you Stuart and Tanya

Great villa in a great location
Had a lovely stay in this large villa which has a great location on the edge of the village so you will need a car. The indoor pool is a bonus not being effected by outdoor weather conditions. The covered outdoor seating / dining area was one of the most comfortable areas of it's type we have encountered .The villa owners were friendly and at hand if needed. Well worth a visit.

Pleasant and spacious villa near the coast in the North if the Island.
A very pleasant stay in a spacious villa only a mile or so from El Cotillo at the North of the island. 3 double bedrooms and one twin room. Spacious kitchen with large centre breakfast bar area. Lovely garden with a view of the distant sunset each evening. Renters should be aware the villa is at the rear (top) of El Roque) and is accessed via an unpaved, but firm, track. No problem in a regular car but take it slow! V friendly dogs next door, always there to greet you. Indoor pool with glass doors to garden. Cool (24 degrees) but you can pay a little extra to have it hotter. Tanya (owner) was very helpful.

Relaxing and pleasant holiday
Lovely, spacious villa within walking distance (about 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes drive) of the El Cotillo lagoons. Local large supermarket is about 10 minutes walk away in El Cotillo. Well stocked kitchen. Indoor pool was warm. When we had a problem with the TV the owner Stewart came round and fixed it straight away. Experienced a few minor maintenance related things (hence the four stars) which the owners are addressing.

Beautiful big villa in a beautiful location
Just returned from spending a week here there was 8 of us 5 adults 3 children and we all had a wonderful time. The villa is really spacious every things has been done to high spec and very clean, would recommend staying here, owner is lovely and friendly any questions we had were answered straight away couldnt be more helpful. Swimming pool is so refreshing and big enough for us all to have our inflatables in there . We are lookimg at coming back next year. If you are wanting to go away and have a relaxing time i highly recomend you go and stay here. Beautiful views of the sunset every evening, we even had a visit from some little lizards in the evening outside. 10 minutes from lots of lovely little restaurants and 25 mins from carelajo were there are lots of shops and beaches. 10/10 overall.

Lovely villa in a lovely Location
Our party of 7 booked this lovely villa in March for some winter sunshine. The weather did not let us down. The village of El Roque was lovely, quiet with character, no bars or shops, which suited fine. The resort of ElCotillo is a very nice walk of about a mile but we hired bikes which meant we could get to the beaches, supermarket, harbour etc, easily. Well worth exploring the bike tracks around the coast line. The villa has 8 beds but the dining facilities only catered for 6 so we had to move chairs around. The twin bedded room was very small for adults with very little space for clothes. We loved the villa but just felt a little more effort was needed to cater for full capacity. Stuart was very helpful but it would have been nice to be greeted on arrival as we didn’t know what the rules were or where the water heater etc was, or even a book of information, however, we were left a very welcome bottle of wine, beers, milk and water so thank you for that. We would definitely recommend this villa and I do feel that Stuart and Tanya are trying to get things right, we asked for another sun bed and it was delivered the next day. El Cotillo is certainly a beautiful part of the island, quiet and unspoilt with lovely bays, even a great beach bar called Torino, well worth a visit for his garlic prawns and calamari. So glad you all enjoyed your stay at our villa We enjoyed meeting with you and glad the welcome pack was of use to you as you did not have a hire car. In total there are 12 dining chairs and 6 breakfast stools so some times a little movement may be needed for our larger group's. As mentioned there are some fantastic fish and steak restaurants in el cotillo which can be enjoyed all year round. We look forward to seeing you all again.

no hot water, no TV, no Wifi, no coffe machine...not recommend
We do not recommend the villa which is NOT absolutely luxurious. At our arrival we found it dirty, without hot water, without TV, Wifi, not even the coffee machine. Our clothes we had to keep in our suitcase for the whole stay, also because both the houses and the wardrobes were very dirty and gave off an unpleasant smell. We were denied to our request to clean the house at our expense upon our arrival. we requested a change of sheets and towels but for all three weeks they were not provided. So if you want to have a hot shower in the morning, or after beach in the afternoon, forget it! You are slave of the button in the main hall, that you should turn on 3 hours, before....The owners said to us that if you leave the botton on( for example, you forget it and go to the beach) the boiler will explode...It wasn't nice...especially on Holiday. The owners told us that they have ordered some piece and should come at the begnining of January..on our return home, we read the reviews of previous customers (January 2017), where the inconvenience of having to switch on and off the main switch, has already been reported by other customers...after our departure we were persevered by the owner, who perhaps believed that the house after our departure finds cleaner than she left it to us. NOT RECOMMENDED...

Our villa has been the recipient of many 5 star reviews as can be seen.If however someone has not had a perfect holiday we look to see if there is anything we can improve upon. We have now made the wifi system much more user friendly and now only have one remote control to access the 100s of tv channels available through the download system. We have replaced the coffee perculator as iis usage seemed to trouble out guests. With regards to the hot water which is switch activated we have yet to develop a more simple system. The house was immaculate upon arrival and we only ask our guests to remove their dirty laundry when packing and not empty ashtrays into draws and melt candles onto cds when lighting. Leaving 8 bags of rotten food in the kitchen is not conducive to a luxurious family holiday. Unfortunately we have needed the services of our lawyers to recover the stolen property from the villa and the wilful damage that was caused during the guests stay. I would suggest that any property owners think very carefully before letting these people abuse your home as they will certainly not be given the chance to damage ours. Pleased to say that the courts have today the 3rd of May awarded us damages of 720pounds and our cort costd for the damage and theft from our villa by these undesirable guests.

Great family retreat
Superb for adults and kids. Good relaxing space and swimming pool a treat for all. El Roque is tranquil and although windy compared to some other parts of the island, this offered a welcomed cooling from the heat. Good supermarket and town nearby. Stewart was very helpful with all our queries. If we came back to the island we would stay here again.

great get away from it all property
we all loved the location , fantastic views to the mountains and also of the sea. each morning a large herd of goats some with bells round their necks scrambled over the lava fields with many gamboling kids. The lagoons at nearby El Cotillo were perfect for our family swimming needs and very safe for the children

Spacious villa in quiet location.
Villa is huge with everything you need in a lovely part of Fuertaventura. Directions were a bit confusing as we arrived at night (so nobody to meet us) and hot water took a bit of sorting out but owner came to help. (I suggest they install a timer on the hot water so you don't need to keep remembering to turn it on/off).

Sehr schöne große Anlage
Die Größe der Anlage war schon beeindruckend. Platz war genug da. Im laufe der Jahre sind ein paar Reparaturen notwendig geworden, die ausgeführt werden sollten. Die Küchenutensilien und Gläser/Besteck etc. sollten man mal erneuern. Alles etwas zu sehr abgenutzt. Auch die Betten ( 160cm) sind in die Jahre gekommen und durchgelegen. Deshalb in Summe auch nur 4 Sterne !

5 great weeks
We stayed with our 2 kids (2y and 5y old) 5 weeks in Fuerteventura in this villa. It's a beautiful, huge house with also a lot of space around. The kids enjoyed beeing in the nature and having there freedom to play and run in the huge garden. Also remote working & Videocalls were possible without Problems as the WiFi is very stable. Some Interieur of the Villa is not in the best condition anymore and we also had some water related issues. But we found an agreement with Stewart in this and he also is about to fix the issues. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our time on Fuerteventura a lot.

La casa es amplia y bonita , las estancias comodas, terraza salon, comedor y cocina muy comodos. Para mejorar:Los colchones, somier y almohadas malisimos😓 La piscina cerrada muy bien por el viento que hace en la zona, pero falló la climatizacion que no calentaba el agua. Los dueños trataron de solucionarlo rapidamente y nos devolvieron el dinero,se preocuparon de buscar soluciones. ✅ La Television es por wifi y nos faltó poder ver la tele un rato en directo, los canales "normales"

Simply wonderful
We spent a wonderful week at Vista El Cotillo. The villa is located a little outside of El Roque, so a car is definitely helpful. The villa itself is lovely, everything is very spacious and the kids enjoyed the pool as well as exploring the rocky area around the house. I loved the kitchen with the huge table and bar stools in the middle, so we never used the actual dining table. We cooked our meals most days and found the kitchen very well-equipped, though some things naturally are not like at home (e.g. a really sharp knife or a big pot to cook spaghetti for a hungry crowd of 5, and not having to use the one for serving 10 ;-)). The patio with its sundbeds and comfy sofas definitely was another highlight to relax and read a book while enjoying a view into the well-tended garden. Some minor things to maybe improve: - the pool has no lighting, so it cannot be used at night (to avoid drunk people in the pool during parties getting out of hand, this definitely is a plus ;-), but for our kids it would have been nice to be able to jump in after dark. - despite the additional pool heating, for me personally, the water was still way too cold and I didn't manage to dip more than a toe in - but probably I am just a wimp. - the WIFI is at extra cost which I think is a little outdated and should be a standard offering nowadays. Having this said I want to reiterate: we could have not had a better place and we would love to come back! Thanks again to Stewart and Tanya for having been such lovely and responsive hosts!

Buena estancia pero habria que mejorar la limpieza de la casa
La casa esta bien. Las zonas comunes estan muy bien pero en general a la casa le hacia falta una limpieza en profundidad. Los perros del vecino estan todo el dia por fuera y ladradando desde muy temprano. Si quieres disponer de wi-fi tienes que pagarlo aparte, algo que no entendimos.

Traumhaft schöne Tage im idealen Zuhause!
Tanya und Stuart sind wundervolle Gastgeber, die alles dafür tun, dass man sich wie Zuhause fühlt. Die Villa selbst ist sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet, der Innenpool war für uns das absolute Highlight. Die Terrasse mit den gemütlichen Sitzmöbeln und den Sonnenliegen lassen immer die Wahl zwischen einem sonningen oder schattigen Platz. Wir haben uns in den zwei Wochen wunderbar erholt und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Wir können dieses "Zuhause" nur wärmstens empfehlen!

big house, quiet vicinity, pretty friendly hosts and no wishes left
it was our second (and not the last) stay in this house which is really big, nice, quiet and clean with a pretty nice big kitchen, living room, garden and nice bedrooms. The Hosts were really uncomplicated with the booking and the contact the whole time we stayed. All in all just perfect for a quiet stay with everything your heart desires. Schöner Urlaub in familiärer Atmosphäre
Wir waren mit 2 Familien im einem schön angelegtem Haus mit Innenpool. Wenn es ein Problem gab oder etwas nicht unseren Vorstellung entsprach, haben sich unsere Gastgeber, Tanya und Stewart, schnellstens gekümmert und ganz nebenbei noch den einen oder anderen (Reise-/Restaurant-)Tipp gegeben. Wir haben die Zeit in einem tollen Haus auf einer faszinierenden Insel sehr genossen. Vielen Dank für diese Möglichkeit !

Settimana di relax
Villa molto accogliente per gruppo di 8 persone. Migliorabili le indicazioni per arrivare e per il funzionamento della Tv. Per il resto consigliabile.

une villa extraordinaire!
Nous avons séjourné dans cette superbe maison du 25 février 2017 au 4 mars. L'impression première quand vous arrivez est époustouflante; c'est une villa très ouverte, spacieuse, lumineuse, luxueuse. La maison possède tout le confort souhaité et bien plus, rien ne manque: jeux de piscine,de plage, jeux de société, dvd,livres, bon en anglais, mais c'est le pays d'origine des propriétaires donc forcement, c'est normal; Terrasse très confortable avec un joli salon d’extérieur, table a manger dehors, dedans, salon intérieur très spacieux, cuisine très bien équipée, propreté vraiment rien a dire, le linge de maison est fourni, les lits sont faits a l'arrivée.....les condiments de première nécessité présents ainsi que liquide vaisselle et éponge...bref, bien différent de beaucoup de location en France ou par des français...c'est un pur bonheur! La maison est idéalement située, pas de vis a vis.La piscine, un bonheur,peut s'ouvrir des deux cotés extérieurs et intérieurs, le jardin bien entretenu et reposant, une maison parfaite pour des vacances parfaites! Les propriétaires sont adorables, disponibles, répondent vite a vos messages, nous n'avons eu aucun souci durant cette merveilleuse semaine. A noter que le wifi et la chauffage de la piscine sont a payer en plus (très raisonnable) nous y retournons l'année prochaine et avons déjà réservé pour être sur :) thanks a lot for everything, looking forward to see you next year best wishes sandra, philippe and children
