Such a unique place to stay! Service was amazing and very clean room and dining. Food was excellent. The grounds are naturally beautiful but could use some maintenance and upkeep. My children enjoyed the indoor pool- I’ve never seen anything like it! I hope this place stays because we want to come back.

We had high hopes for staying here as it was close to Enchanted Rock. It was my birthday getaway, and I was more than unhappy. I’ll try to be brief and concise. No one was ever in the office or anywhere to be found if you needed anything. Only served breakfast between 9-10. That is late!! No early coffee service either. Food that they served was not even good . Our room was very dark, television did not have reception, coffee maker didn’t work correctly (pour a full cup of water in it and only half a cup of coffee comes out), no water bottles in the room, no tissue box, a dirty rag was hanging in the shower (hence only one clean washrag in stack of towels for two people), there was black mold all over the shower walls and floor (gross and health hazard), and the bedsheets had dirt on them (not washed well). We left after our first night of two and checked into another hotel. Lost a night’s rate we paid, but we did not care. This hotel could actually be a cool place if it had good management and put a little money into it. Extremely disappointed.

Great Stay!
Absolute best!! If you’re looking for internet service, it’s definitely not for you but if you love nature and adventure, it’s wonderful! All staff were super sweet! Privacy was great. It’s a little older but we loved it!

I want to get my money back from this property. The Trois Estates was not what it was advertised to be. It is very old, outdated, very little service, and just totally not a "resort" or anywhere near it. I need to get my money back as this place was expensive.

This was a great place to stay away from the busy city! The rooms (Bella villa) and the other buildings had a beautiful unique aesthetic look to them! It had a breathtaking view of the enchanted rock with a viewing deck! We enjoyed tasty complimentary breakfast in a very uniquely designed dinning room! We loved everything about this place! The WiFi however was not really working to connect to the internet! Also a suggestion for the room furniture rearrangement! You have very beautiful furniture that you may want to rearrange to make the room looks more elegant! We felt that the furniture were just left without much thought!

I am sure at one time this was THE place to go, however, it is a bit run down. We were in the Bella Villa room and it was an odd layout. The bathroom was lit by a lamp which made it difficult to get ready for an evening out. The plug to use the blow dryer was by the toilet. The restaurant was apparently not open, nor was the bar, which left NOTHING to do as this hotel is 15 miles outside of Fredericksburg on a dark winding road. It may have just been the time of year we chose, however, there were other guests at the hotel. It is a beautiful place, just missing some creature comforts of a lot of other hotels. We intend to go back during the summer and try it again to see if our experience is different. We were given a bottle of wine upon check-in. That was a lovely gesture.

Such a cute place, one of a kind. A nice surprise with an eclectic old world ambiance that felt like we entered a different time and location. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.

This place is endlessly beautiful! We spent a night there. The Details in our room is what I liked the most. The staff is friendly and nice. We also had a delicious breakfast. One thing you should remember while booking this beautiful hotel is that it was extremely cold at night.

Vacation at the Trois Estate, 2023
My wife and I very much enjoyed the stay at the Trois Estate. It was peaceful, enchanting and relaxing. The uniqueness of the estate, exceptional service, scenery/location and the grotto pool are the key take-aways from our stay at this Bed and Breakfast.

Super unique place very close to the Enchanted Rock. Host/owner was very nice and the homemade breakfast was amazing, fresh and hand delivered. The pools and grotto were magical along with the rooftop hangout areas. Will definitely come back!

Had all kinds of bad luck ! Finding this place late at night is next to impossible. Was never able to find the reception desk. I called the hotel and the lady who answered what kind enough to bring the key to the parking lot and showed me where the room was. Upon setting in the room, found that the walls were paper thin and you put everything and everybody in the room. That goes for privacy. To make matters worse, as soon as we use the toilet, found out it was clogged and there was no way to reach anyone because it was almost 11 PM. Needless to say it was not a very enjoyable evening. The next day I saw the front desk again, and they offered to change me to another room. This room had no way to lock it due to the fact that the frame around the lock was broken. So they offered me to put me in another room.,, a bit bigger but the AC wouldn’t work to cool the bigger room. Disappointment after disappointment, we decided just to leave the hotel and find another place in Fredericksburg. I would like to say that the lady in charge was nice enough to try to make it up for all this issues, offering me a bottle of wine which I gladly took.

Trois estate is a unique and quaint get away from Austin/ San Antonio areas. We went out for stargazing (int. Day skies level 2 area), hiking, and enjoying the local wineries and distilleries in the area. Will be back again to enjoy this peaceful and beautiful property again.

Great place to get away for a weekend. Place looks like you are walking around in an old Spanish village. Friendly staff who made us feel at home. The place could use some upkeep but we didn’t mind because it made the experience feel as if we went back in time.

For those looking for an off the grid kind of experience, this is absolutely the place for you. It’s quiet, rustic, and the hill country day/night views are amazing. We loved the rooftop moon rises and star views. That said, if you’re all about tv, internet, fancy meals and such, this might not be the place for you. All in all, we were looking for something different and away from all the noise and enjoyed our time there.

Whimsical and awesome
This place was amazing and magical, extremely well kept whimsical grounds that was absolutely charming. The mattress in the Davinci room was not very comfortable, but every other aspect was amazing and it made my wife and I very happy.
