Overpriced at around $130/night, but it is in Fredericksburg, TX which is a popular destination and it was during "Fiesta" in San Antonio which is 45 min. away. Most disturbing were the two scorpions I found in the room! One in the bed the first night and one in the bathroom the next morning. Otherwise it was clean and functional for a roadside motel.

What a charming motel. It’s an older hotel but still has the original sea foam green tile in the bathroom. The view from the back was a field of wildflowers. Super clean and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The only redeeming quality of this property was the well lit inviting pool. If it were not for the pool being lit up, I would have competly missed the property. If I wanted a day pool party or needed motorcycle rags this place would be adequate. Since I was looking for safe, quiet, clean place to sleep I opted not to stay here after making a reservation. This hotel is honestly not safe. First there is no one on site after 11:00 p.m. if you have an issue. Most of the exterior light bulbs are burned out making the property very dark so dark it is hard to open the door with a real key. The room next to the one assigned to me was open and dark likely because the keys do not lock the rooms and this concerned me for safety. The real keys did not lock the deadbolt or the lower lock from the outside. This again was a safety deal breaker for me. There are plenty of other places to stay in Fredericksburg, please do not stay here if you want a safe stay.

Neat 50's vibe. Lobby was very messy and reeked of cigarette smoke. The room was very dusty and cold, sloppy made beds, no iron or ironing board. No blankets. Just the sheet and a sheet-thin top cover. Towels didn't seem clean.

They had radiators for heat that only operated with an on/off switch, no temperature control. No extra pillows. No remote for TV.. they had to steal one from the lobby and that only partially worked. Bed gave me a back ache.

Older hotel has been renovated but kept that that old-school feeling rooms were clean refrigerator head and freezer in it for my ice packs since I am a insulin carrier Bavarian Restaurant next-door convenient only a couple of things that could be better fix the potholes in the driveway and get new mattresses other than that it was a great stay

Rooms were very clean.. only down fall was got there @ 130pm and the rooms were not ready so we couldn’t check in… they should have the rooms ready to go before then.. made us wait till the extant time to check in at 2pm.. a little better customer service would of been nice .. Have the rooms ready to go before 2 pm

A clean, comfortable place to spend the night
We went to Fredericksburg on some wine tasting adventures and chose to stay the night this time. We just wanted a comfortable and clean place to sleep for the night, and this was definitely the right choice. No expensive hotels with amenities we wouldn't use.

Very dated structure. Last minute reservation. Will spend more next time around looking for a better place. Cheese balls behind the dresser and under the bed. Bathroom floor was sticky to my sneakers. Was a cool evening so tried the heat. Didn't look safe and it smelled bad. I think this place is from the 70's at best. It was just for a night so it served its purpose.

Nice and Clean. Don’t skip it.
It’s a locally owned, small hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It’s basic and a bit dated but don’t skip it. It’s affordable, clean, quite, has a pool and all the basics.
