This property charges a $50 fee for an early check-in. A policy I don't agree with. If a room is ready early, let the guest check-in early. If not, then say it's not possible, but don't charge a premium. The manager did let us check-in early without paying a fee after I voiced my opinion.
Sadly, immediately after check-in my 80 year-old mother fell entering the pool area as there was no yellow demarcation at the pool entrance. Please see attached images. We spent the evening at the hospital ER and opted not to return to the hotel.
I think this is a nice property, but I would highly recommend adding yellow paint to this entrance as there was yellow paint at a different pool entrance.
I am a Hotels.com Gold Member and used my rewards nights to book this room. The property sent me an email confirming Expedia/Hotels.com was charged for the stay, so my rewards nights were used. I have reached out to Hotels.com with the details above in hopes of obtaining them a refund and reclaiming my rewards nights. I will update this review as more information is available.
