“very affordable and spacious”

Key Ambassador have very spacious rooms. The beds were very comfortable and air conditioning kept the large room very cool. The pool is beautiful and the tiki bar and food was a very nice feature. The grounds were keep clean as were the rooms. I would stay here again

“Beautiful Property to stay at”

Very friendly, helpful, and courteous staff. We will definitely stay there on our next trip. Beautiful pool area with both sunny and shady areas. View of the Atlantic was spectacular. Airport noise (little that it was) didn't bother us at all. Nice to be away from Old Town noise and congestion. Old town was easily accessible by car, bus, or trolley. Wonderful for relaxation.

“Great place to stay!!”

This was a great place to stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained. All of the staff was extremely helpful. I was worried that it was out from Old Town, but a bus picked us up right at the hotel. (50 cents for seniors) A person could also take the trolley. We were right across from the ocean. The beach was in walking distance. (It is not much of a beach, but there is plenty of water activities to do.) There was a great walkway along the ocean for bike riding or just walking. I would recommend this hotel.

“Pretty pool, friendly service we'll go back”

The Key Ambassador has been around for a while, but it looks fresh and the pool is gorgeous. Great Tiki Bar; friendly service, and for $2 the local bus picks you up at the door and drops you off downtown, along a short route which follows the ocean and heritage homes. Its not right downtown, but its quiet and has a spacious shaded pool area, so we'll go back.

“Home away from home...”

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. It is definitely a favorite of ours. Large comfortable rooms, quiet location, beautiful pool, polite, friendly and efficient service from everyone on staff that we encountered. Grounds are beautifully and meticulously maintained as are the accomodations. The pool is outstanding! Daily breakfast more than adequate, host/hostess very particular of the area. Lovely location across from the ocean where you can walk down the promenade and enjoy the wildlife and view, away from the wonderful wackiness of Old Town. Would love to stay longer than our usual weekly vacation!

Thus place was very clean. The room we had was like new. We had access to all bus services right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was mor than just continental. Pool was clean and the bar at the pool had great food. The egrits were there every day but any do do messes were cleaned up daily. Shuttle was prompt but not even necessary do to closenes to airport

“Fun In The Sun”

I took my girlfriend to Key West to get away from the snowy Midwest for awhile. Although the Best Western Key Ambassador was one of the farthest hotels from most Key West attractions, we didn't find it to be inconvenient. Staff was more than helpful; they picked us up from the airport, recommended restaurants and activities, and were able to get me a discount on a moped rental. By the way, mopeds are the way to go unless you are within walking distance of everything. They are alot of fun and much easier to find parking for than cars.

“Comfortable, convenient, but LOTS of airplanes!”

Being right next to the airport, I expected some airplanes, but every afternoon when we wanted to take a nap before dinner the planes would be taking off and landing. They flight right overhead and are pretty darn loud! The earliest flight we heard was around 7:30AM and latest maybe 11PM, but that was only once or twice in the 5 days. Hotel is comfortable and continental breakfast is sufficient and better than expected.

“Wonderful relaxing visit”

We got the best of both worlds by staying here. The hotel is not in the city proper so you don't get the noisy night life into the wee hours of the morning. The pool area is so fabulous that we did not need to find the beach. Breakfast is included and has a wonderful assortment including our favorite make your own waffles. Staff was awesome in every respect. They even helped us when our flight was delayed 2 days and they let us stay in the same room the entire trip. We definitely recommend this clean, comfortable location. Be prepared for airport noise since it is 1/3 mile from the airport. That did not bother us. A+++!!
