This hotel is in a very central location, 8 minutes from the train station. I didn't experience any noise disturbance despite the location. The staff were friendly and informative. The room decor needed a little updating but it was clean and fairly spacious. There is a large step into the hotel lobby which is not convenient for heavy/loads of luggage. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel in early March 2009 and was impressed by the location - about 100 yards from the Ponte Vecchio and other famous sights of Florence. The hotels was clean and tidy and for the price couldn't be faulted. Would recommend to others

“Helped make my stay in Florence memorable”

Wonderful staff, everybody was cheerful, helpful and friendly. I loved the location, central yet quiet, and close to some of the best places to eat in Florence. The WiFi could have been better, but overall, I really enjoyed my stay here.

“Great hotel, great location”

Good sized room in centre of Florence with all sights within walking distance. Only niggles wear TV was small, breakfast was OK but limited, room smelt of cigarette smoke at first.

“A welcome start to Florence”

I arrived at the hotel, very tired and slightly grumpy from the flight and received the warmest welcome from the lady behind the counter!! Having to say 'No' when asked if I'd visited Florence before - she quickly whipped out a map to show me the best locations and sites! A amazing start to a great break! All other reception staff we're friendly and accommodating! Room was clean and comfy, and air-conned to perfection! Shower worked perfectly and had no water pressure issues as stated in other reviews! Breakfast was served on the outdoor terrace by classical Italian Señorita, again friendly and smiley! Hotel is perfectly central and around 10 minutes walk from the station! Would highly recommend and one I'll use when I next visit to Florence!

“Fantastic hotel - very friendly staff”

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are really friendly and the rooms very clean. The breakfast room was very quaint (with a terrace in summer)and you got a nice selection of breads, jams and cheeses. The hotel couldn't be in a better location. You are less than one minutes walk from the Ponte Vechio bridge and some lovely squares. Also only 10 minutes walk from the station. I would definately recommend this hotel!

“You could not pick a better location”

Absolutely brilliant location for all the sights, close to Ponte Vecchio, view of the Duomo out the bedroom window. Staff very helpful and friendly and though the room is a bit basic and maybe tired, it was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Will definetely stay there again.

“Ideal location”

The Della Signoria is just a few minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio so is perfectly situated to reach all the sites on foot. The room was comfortable, the bathroom though small was adequate and both were cleaned each day. Only small downside was the breakfast. Good coffee though.

This small hotel is in a wonderful location for visiting Old Florence. The staff are very friendly. The rooms were clean but basic. The continental breakfast was fair. We would return!

“Perfectly adequate”

A perfect location. Central for everything.Lovely terrace for breakfast. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Only critisism would be slightly dated decor but as long as your not expecting a 4 star for 3 star money this is perfect.
