“Great quality and value! Will definitely return!”

We were in Fargo for a shopping weekend and were pleased how easy it was to get to the mall and shops from the hotel. It was also close to a number of restaurants. The room was large, the beds were very comfortable, and we loved the convenience of having a fridge and microwave in the room. The continental breakfast was convenient, and the dining room wasn't overly crowded. The staff working the desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The check-out time of 12pm is also very convenient, as on Sundays, the stores don't open until noon. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely, and will definitely return to Settle Inn & Suites the next time we are in Fargo!

Dining

We had amazing service at the Applebee's right down the road from Settle Inn & Suites; I would recommend to go there for a well-priced, enjoyable, casual experience. Redford's Steak and Seafood was a disappointment. The service was lackluster, the food came out lukewarm, and at the end of the meal, instead of offering coffee, the waiter simply delivered the bill. The food was good, but it's on the pricier side, and as stated earlier, the service was sub-par. If you are travelling from Canada for a long weekend, expect long waits at all restaurants, as the city was filled with travellers in town to shop!

“Best hotel value in Fargo”

Room sizes are above average...King suite with sofa and second TV is huge.The jacuzzi suite juts outside the east wall with its bay windows for a 180 degree view with lots of daylight. The bathrooms are spacious and the microwave with a mini fridge come in handy. They advertize continental breakfast from 6 to 9a.m., but, in fact there are hot items like scrambled eggs, sausages, boiled eggs,toast, waffles, hot and cold cereal, coffee, biscuit and gravy, along with other popular favourites. There is a buffet, 'Golden Coral" within a hundred metres along with many restaurants to choose from nearby. This smoke free hotel is less than three years old and clean. Smoking in a room will result in a $500 fine. This hotel will be our first choice on our next visit.

“Nice surprise!”

When we arrived, they did not have our prepaid room available. We had paid for 2 queen sized bed and they did not have a room available with those 2 beds. They tried to put us in a room with one bed and a pull out but when I refused they put us in their long-term stay room, which was amazing! It was actually an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living room. It was a very nice surprise!

“A Great Hotel!”

This hotel is great! Not only are the employees friendly, they are eager to make your stay great! The breakfast is amazing-wouldn't even have to have as much food and it would be rated as top notch. The people that work with the breakfast go out of their way to make everyone happy. There is a lot of seating available as well. The rooms are very spacious and always clean. We try to book this hotel for family gatherings as my relatives from large cities always enjoy the accommodations the Settle Inn provides. The Expedia rate is one of the reasons that this hotel is on our list! We have not been disappointed in our yearly stays at this hotel.

Area recommendations

This hotel is close to I -94 and close to shopping and restaurants. The 45th Street exit is a great location to stay in Fargo, ND.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

Rooms were quiet, large and clean. My husband was impressed at how grand the suite felt, but also felt cozy. Was great to have a separate area for our son to fall asleep in as well. The pool is WONDERFUL! If you have smaller children (under 5), the splash pool is a must! Didnt realize how much we appreciated it until we stayed in a hotel without a kiddie pool. Now everyone can go for a swim!

“Site for Tired Eyes”

This hotel was an excellent site for tired eyes. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Impeccably clean. When we checked in at midnight, the hotel smelled like fresh bread baking. Presumably for the continental breakfast. The menu for the continental breakfast looked fabulous, but we didn't make it out of bed in time. Our beds were very comfortable and hard to leave in the morning. Thank you to Settle Inn. That was the best hotel stay of our 5 night trip.

“Good,comfortable hotel”

My husband, daughter and I stayed in a 1 bedroom king suite for 2 nights - wednesday to Friday. It was a good size room- but I was disappointed to see there was no partition between the bedroom and outer room. There was a TV in each room and so you could hear the other TV going from each room. The bathroom was a little small - I did like the sink was in the same room as the bath. I find it inconvenient when it is in the hall. The pool was not large - it is geared to younger children/families. Has a water slide. The hotel is within walking distance to Gander Mountain Store -but need a car to go to West Acres. It is also within walking distance to the Zoo - also good for families. My husband and I would stay here again, but I think we would go elsewhere with our teenage daughter. (someplace that is actually a 2 room suite and also has a larger pool).
