Fabulous view, close to town, lovely cosy cottage
Wonderful spot - 5 mins walk into town. Great view. Very cosy and homely. Extra touches like air freshener and soap and an umbrella make a difference. Parking was ok - always found a spot but did need to walk a bit sometimes. Would definitely recommend and would like to come back here in the summer.

Glorious views. Comfortable and peaceful.
This lovely cottage felt immediately homely. We had a very relaxing stay and slept so well in comfortable beds in this peacful spot. Set in a small row of cottages looking out over Falmouth's harbour, this cottage is really tucked away from the bustle of the town, but still just a few minutes walk from the centre. You park in the road behind the cottage and access the front door by taking the steps to the side of the cottages and a little footpath in front. This means there in no passing traffic and you can sit outside in the peaceful surroundings to enjoy the wonderful view. There is always something happening in the harbour, so we loved just sitting on the patio soaking up the views.

A lovely stay!
Our stay at April Cottage was absolutely lovely! The cottage itself was cosy, very pretty and well equipped. The view from the front windows and outside seating area was perfect - watching the boats come and go was such a pleasure. John is a most welcoming host. ( Thanks, John!) We all thoroughly recommend a stay in April Cottage.

A home away from home
April cottage is a home away from home. The rooms are light and airy, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. Although the kitchen is small it is quite adequate and there is more than enough equipment provided. The owners have obviously gone to great lengths to anticipate and cover every possible need. The bathroom is modern; the shower is compact but works well. The master bedroom is large and storage space is ample. The view from its single window is simply stunning. For international travellers like us with a lot of heavy luggage, the steep stone steps that lead down to the narrow path running across the front of the five cottages can present a bit of a challenge. However, once done, the arrival at the front terrace, which enjoys spectacular views over the Fal estuary and the far side of the river, makes it all worthwhile. We enjoyed sitting out there for breakfast and evening drinks as often as we could. Although there is no designated car space for the cottage, we never had a problem finding one in the roads nearby. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and our only complaint is that we wish it could have been longer.

Perfect in every way
I’m reluctant to be too positive because I don’t want anyone else to book our weeks in the years to come! We have already booked another week for next year! It’s so good I don’t want to tell anyone! 😁

Christmas at April Cottage
What a beautiful place to spend Christmas. So quiet and peaceful with such stunning views. The cottage had everything that we could possibly need, with comfy beds, cosy sofas, a glowing log burner and even a Christmas tree! Just a short walk to the town for local pubs and restaurants. Everything that we had hoped for and more. Would definitely stay here again.

Great cottage and plenty to do
Firstly the host was excellent. Very attentive. The house itself was well equipped and has an amazing view out of the front each morning of the boats. Falmouth is a quaint little town - we have 3 boys who always had plenty to do and didn't want to leave. There are days out close by but even if you don't want to go very far the town is only a 5 minute walk away. We would definitely come back here - we got the quiet time we like with the convenience of everything close by.

Just lovely!
Fantastic views, bright and clean, comfortable and cheery - and a great location with great views to Flushing, St Mawes and the working harbour at Falmouth. Our second visit to stay in this lovely cottage.
