"The room was clean, the breakfast was decent, the staff was nice, and I didn't have to go to the lobby to pick up my food delivery like the last place I went to"

"The room was clean, but it had a terrible smell. I’m almost positive it was the microwave, I asked for it to be removed and they said they couldn’t take anything out of the room and offered me an air freshener. The A/C only worked for the first few hours I was there also. I asked to switch rooms but was informed they already had acute guest needing to switch rooms. In the end I found a different hotel and did not finish my stay."

"Overall a good place to stay. Free breakfast was juice coffee yogurt granola bar. Not a continental in my book. Maybe add boiled eggs, bagels, etc. There is a great Indian restaurant around the corner and Bruns apple market has most anything you need within a walkable distance. If looking for something to do go see the Rhododendron garden nearby at Hendricks park."

"This is not a lodging for people who can’t do steps. Jackson Room requires a 20 step outdoor staircase to reach the room or leave the room. No other options. Second floor rooms in the main house also require climbing. No elevator. Luggage is a problem. Help needed. Jacuzzi bathtub nice but to use the shower combo one must step over its high sides. Bedding cumbersome and heavy weighted. Heat control in room works well. Train can either be soothing or annoying, your choice. You will hear it at all hours. Grounds lovely, staff helpful. Breakfast delicious."
