The room was clean. The hallway carpets were filthy. We asked for a room on the main floor because we had a small dog with us. We were told there wasn’t any rooms available on the first or second floors. Looked like attendees on duty were entertaining friends or family. We will not be staying at that location again.

This hotel is probably the most ghetto place I’ve ever stayed. While waiting to check in I heard the man at the desk tell someone they don’t rent rooms to people within 50 miles because of the two overdoses recently, lol. The room was dirty. The mattress on one of the beds looked like it came from a crackhouse. The vending room had a bag or garbage out of the can just sitting on the floor and the whole hallway smelled like poop. It was just gross.

While I appreciate your review, it is inaccurate. We do rent to locals and we have never had an overdose. So I am not sure if you confused us with a different hotel.

The gentleman who checked us in was so pleasant and professional and cheerful. He was a delight after a long travel day! But we were advised by locals to park under the lights because the area is known to be rough.

$171 for 3 ppl is s little pricey. Initially, we had 6 ppl going to stay but 3 went. Price could not be adjusted because I was 17 minutes past the allowable time to adjust the price is what i was told.

Convenient Comfort
The perfect stay for our travels with dog. We always get a suite which gave my husband and I our space, and separate TV! It was clean, great staff, walking distance to shopping, restaurants. A dog area ,stocked with poop bags. Conveniently located to our highway access.

Staff was really friendly and helped whenever they could. Mattresses felt new and were super comfy. Breakfast was okay, not super impressed but got us fed. I wish they would upgrade the room hvac units. They're old school and sound like an airplane turning on the engines. You can tell the hotel hasn't been updated in awhile but it's clean, NO bed bugs and safe. Very convenient location, with gas station, food, etc. right next door. I would stay again.

Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Hotel breakfast was hot and plentiful even at 8:30 (it closed at 9:00). Hotel lobby and breakfast area was clean. The beds were very comfortable. It seems the hotel has been updated, but the walls and grout in the bathroom are still old and in need of updating. Found it strange that there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom? And there was no lock or key card entry into the workout room.

Loved the fireplace!
I was pleasantly surprised by my brief stay at this hotel. When I entered, there was a warm and inviting fireplace with seasonal decor, it was not too much, but just right. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean. Very neat and all the furnishings were up-to-date. The complementary breakfast was very well organized, fully stocked and constantly attended. I recommend this hotel. It was only 15 minutes outside of Charleston, but worth the drive. Did I mention the fireplace was inviting?

Dirty floors
Cleaning could have been much better. Traveling with my dog who spilled some water from his bowl on the floor in the bathroom. I took a hand towel to clean it up and when I picked up the towel, it was brown. Apparently they are not mopping the floors when they dress the rooms.
