This hotel was a nice surprise! We were traveling with classic show cars, were concerned but the 3 security guards the casino provides driving through the night made us feel better. We loved this hotel quiet and super clean!!! We were very pleased with our stay!! We even booked again to stay here coming home. Also beds and pillows were super comfy!

No shuttle, no taxi cab available and UBER would not come to hotel. Luckily a friend of friend lived nearby. Otherwise would have been stranded.

The Hotel it's self was quite nice, however where its placed for just the over night guest is out of the way and truly not in a safe place, my friend and I decided that when we go back in the Fall we won't be staying here

Being that I stayed on a week night, not very busy and parking was super easy, right in front of hotel. Casino in walking distance, just wish there was a direct path, walking by myself at night through the parking lot just made me little uneasy. Other than that everything was great.

The noise was terrible,the tenant next door making noise all night and the TV at high volume until 6:30am,the tenant upstair jumping and walking all night we got to sleep 2hrs cause room service got there at 8:45 so honestly wouldn’t recommend looks like it was build with no sound barrier so you hear everything from all around you plus traffic

This is an honest review, I tend to come to this property so many times, and never once has this property ever let me down. The first time staying at this hotel I was 18 years old and wanted to visit El Paso but couldn’t find a place to take me until I came across the Sunland Hotel. I came in and was greeted with really nice and respectful staff, each time I came, it was always like this. Quick and easy, rooms are always clean, and housekeeping is always on top of everything. The property has many parking spaces and everything was quiet too. If you’re looking for a comfortable, and quiet place to stay to make you feel right at home. Come down to The Hotel at Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino/West El Paso

It would have been excellent stay except for the sewage smell in the room. I was told each floor has three or four rooms that way and nothing they can do about it.. they couldn’t switch me to another room so four nights, smelling the sewage. Another thing they did not honor my military discount.
