This is one of the nicest and most beautiful hotels that we have ever stayed at. It is historic and beautifully remodeled. Everyone who works there had such positive energy. We were absolutely thrilled to have found the Hotel Baren Durrenroth and want to come back soon. Thanks again for taking care of our personal item that was left there. We appreciate you! PS. Also, the food at the restaurant is amazing.

Romantik Room
Very nice Romantik room in that hotel. Friendly service and nice staff. In the heart of Switzerland country with beautiful rolling hills and mountains. Perfect retreat spot.

5 Star Service!
Beautiful hotel. Great staff that was very helpful. Complimentary game room with pool table and other games. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The restaurant at the hotel, while pricey is absolutely wonderful. Five star service!!

We had a great stay.The hotel and town was very quaint and beautiful. We did day trips to Basel,Bern and Interlaken,and could have chosen hotels closer,but we love the Romantika Brand they have never let us down

Too much for too little for romance
The hotel is two buildings and it was difficult checking in and then getting to our room. The room was very hot and they told us it would be cool in an hour, they shut off the heat. The room was very small for $120/night. The place was well decorated and the location was out of the way to get into Bern quickly, about an hour away. The breakfast was the worst we saw all week with poor selections and no warm food. This was a poor cost to value experience. For your romance go elsewhere.

Sehr empfehlenswerter, schöner und gepflegter Gasthof in traumhafter Gegend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche auch sehr schmackhaft und alle Angestellten äusserst nett. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Anhenehmer Aufenthalt
Das Hotel Bären liegt mitten in einem kleinen Dorf in schöner Umgebung und bietet einen Wellnesbereich (welchen ich leider nicht genutzt habe). Die Zimmer sind recht groß bei guter Aussattung. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung und wurde immer nachgelegt. Mein Zimmer war leider im Untergeschoss zur Straßenseite, wo direkt eine Bushaltestelle war. Daher war das öffnen der Fenste leider nicht möglich. Im Sommer sicherlich ein Negativpunkt. Für die Winterzeit war es jedoch ok. Alle in allen ist der Aufenhalt zu empfehlen.

Super spa moderne et agréable, bon mélange de l'histoire et la modernité. Environnement calme. Nous avons eu un peu de difficulté pour trouver la réception depuis le parking souterrain.

Hotel incantevole in un edificio d'epoca ben ristrutturato. Atmosfera calda e accogliente. Il ristorante potrebbe offrire un menu più ricco ed a prezzi leggermente più contenuti (visto che il mio cordon bleu, ottimo, era accompagnato da patatine fritte in stile Mc Donald...

Dans le style de la région... romantique
J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel deux nuits pour mon travail dans les régions alentours; l’hôtel est très accueillant avec des chambres spacieuses ; le resto est un gastro étoilé ; nous sommes véritablement dans le style vieille ferme de cette région ; la seule petite déception serait le déjeuner, assez maigre en comparaison d’autres établissements, en tout cas pas très digne d’un restaurant étoilé ! Le personnel est sympathique et serviable

ruhige Umgebung, trotz Hauptstrasse
Das Hotel liegt in eine sehr ruhigen Umgebung in der Zentralschweiz, zwar an der Hauptstrasse aber für Spaziergänge bestens geeignet. Leider gibt es keinen Wasserkocherr für das Zimmer, was ein echter Mangel ist. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist wirklich vorzüglich.

Uns wurde zum Glück beim Check In gesagt, man gebe uns ein Upgrade und wir erhielten Zimmer 20. Wir können uns nur schwer vorstellen wie zwei Erwachsene in einem noch kleineren Zimmer schlafen sollten. Auf 2 Gläser Wein und ein Mineralwasser haben wir am Abend 20 Minuten warten müssen. Auch beim Frühstück bräuchten wir viel Geduld.

주변이 완전 시골이라서 볼거리는 별로 없지만 평화로운 초원을 즐기면서 스위스 전통가옥을 체험해볼수 있음. 주차가 편리하고 직원들이 친절한 호텔. 방도 예뻐요.

Romantisch modern
Es war ein verlängertes Wochenende und das Hotel verbindet Tradition mit der Moderne. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Das Hotel liegt in einem malerischen Ort. Das Zimmer ist rustikal gemischt mit modernen Elementen eingerichtet. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Séjour très agréable. Hôtel très bien situé, en face du lac et disposant de nombreux équipements : fitness, sauna, piscine intérieure chauffée !
