“Problem corrected”

The hotel is near the highway in a commercial area, so not a resort but fine for travelers. Our initial room had a leak in the ceiling from the room above. They immediately gave us another room, which was just fine. Convenient, clean and comfortable. For the price, it was all one could ask. Minor point: the elevator was small and slow, but as I said, a minor point.

“Great Value”

Great value for a short weekend stay to visit my daughter at college. Complimentary breakfast had great coffee which is a must anywhere I stay. Two choices of cereal, toast, bagel or cinnamon buns. A couple of choices of fruit as well. Room was comfortable & clean. Cable tv choices were also good. I woud definitely stay here again as it's close to Marywood University & the mall. I was a little upset when I put $1.75 in a DaSani water machine only to get a cheap bottle of water from the Dollar Store. Staff at front desk were courteous and helpful.

“Make sure you have an nonsmoking room”

the front desk told me that by booking online we were automatically put into a smoking room. We went to our room and turned around and went back to the desk because the room smelled terrible and the floor it was on reeked of smoke... DISGUSTING. We went back and the woman at the front desk gave us a hard time about it because our reservation was listed as smoking and eventually gave us a different room. Other than that they room served it's purpose. It's cheap and just a drive away to downtown scranton or Marywood University (where we were visiting my sister). It's def not a great place, but for the price it was fine.

“Just a convenient overnight stop.”

The room was clean and comfortable. There was a cigarette burn on the wall that normal, daily cleaning wouldn't fix, and other minor things like that. The continental breakfast was light, but typical. Staff was friendly and helpful.

“Nice hotel, comfortable. Not a lot to do in the area.”

The hotel was nice. My daughter was attending a concert at the Toyota Montage. There really isn't much else to do in the area with other children in tow.

“good place to stay”

my only complaint is they put a $1.59 charge per day for the in room safe that I was unaware of and didn't use. Make sure you tell them at check-in to take charge off. Over all, its a good place to stay if you are looking for convience and just a place to sleep
