We were returning from Taos to Dallas area, and this turned out to be a good choice. It is right on I 40, so it's easy to get to and close to several places to eat. The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave and refrigerator. We enjoyed the pool, too.
We arrived a bit later than we had planned, I was dog tired and within two minutes of walking in to the lobby, the Night Manager had my room keys in my hand and had offered me the rolling cart to ease my bag handling. The room was beautifully clean, the bath was fully stocked and the beds, some of the most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on while traveling. Check out was equally smooth and pleasant. Can't get any better than that.
First I didn't realize that there were two Baymont Inn's as my GPS took me to the wrong one. Arrived at the correct hotel and was greeted with a very friendly front desk assistant who helped me out a lot. Was travelling with two cats and realized that my original booking for a King bed, non-smoking was on the second floor which unfortunately have an elevator. Carrying two grown cats in a carrier is difficult enough so I requested for a ground floor closest to an exit. And I got it! Very happy with that indeed and as well I was able to order for delivery and had pizza for dinner! The room was very clean and didn't smell of any past pets having been there. Though the cats were restless most of the night, it was a good rest for all of us. Only stayed for one night but I would recommend especially for those just passing through for one night stay. I left out too early to get my free breakfast but was able to grab a couple of apples for the road.
