Hubby and I went there there for our honeymoon in mid September, and the place was unbelievable!! It was better then what we expected and much nicer then the photos we saw before we went. The staff were very friendly and everyone spoke good English so there were no communication barriers. The water bungalow we stayed in was perfect for us two, very spacious, clean and the views were to die for! You could swim under the bungalow or just sit around and relax at the beach which was just a short walk away.
The food was great, so were the tours available on the resort. It was an amazing experience and we recommend this place for everyone!!
Just keep in mind everything is quite expensive, so if you can do half board at the least, as there are no shops to buy snacks or food from, just restaurants and bars only.
When we plan to visit Male and looking at the few places pls not to consider any negative reviews by the Toursit on this property. This place and service is better than what they have mentioned/shown in the website.
Nice accommodation and highest level of privacy. All water villas hotel. Big enough living space. But evening air not so fresh due low water level and naked riffs as a result. Same time air conditions (at bedrooms) not too advanced but noizy!
Great dining experience! Unforgettable breakfast: fresh juices, smoothes, eggs menu, big variety of asian and european meals. Paradise for japanese food lovers! The best dinner experience - japanese restaurant By The Sea. Fantastic food but pricy enough; you'll spend USD 500-700 for couple if will try Sake Testing Menu.
Not the best place for people who is looking for unic diving experience offered by Maldives! But - unforgettable! The last but not the list - spa treatments! You will enjoy!

Overall, Paradise is a great resort to stay. It has a great beach and some breath-taking experiences. A small thing - there is a swing outside each beach bungalow and our family had a great fun on it :).
Having said that, I feel its a still bit over-priced. I guess that's true for most of the places in Maldives. Here are some of the experiences that I would term as not-so-good:
1) First and foremost - "FOOD": It just sucks. They need to cook better!
2) Warmth of the staff - This was good in places but overall I found the staff to be very curt, not so responsive and non-pleasing.
3) Some facilities like kids park needs to be maintained better and upgraded.

We were extremely happy with our overwater bungalow, with tropical fish right at our doorstep. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, and we didn't want for anything in our comfortable bungalow. We would highly recommend this resort to anybody.

Wonderful experience from the moment we got to the pickup counter at the airport. Room was not going to be ready for another 4 hours.so my family and I decided to go see the mainland. Bandos provided a tour guide at no cost to me. Clean room, wonderful and pleasant staff. Hasan in the gallery restaurant went above and beyond. Chen at dive bandos was excellent for my first scuba diving experience. The house reef is great. First rate facility. Well maintained. Would go back again.

1. Hotel room: not the most expensive but kept clean. But for the price paid, the room given is more than adequate. It is great actually.
2. Hotel staff: helpful and friendly.
3. Food: we only had 1 breakfast there. But it is good and satisfying.
4. Location: near airport. So it is very suitable for those who just use Male as a transit point to the islands.
So all in all this is a very good hotel.
We stayed at the Elite overnight before taking the various ferries to Maafushi. The staff were all helpful - not all understood English - the owner speaks very good English. Not too far from the airport - walkable I'd say but you're not allowed to walk through the airport so that wasn't a goer. We even went for a walk along the beach in the evening. The room was fine for an overnight but not sure it'd be good for a longer stay. Breakfast was ok too.
