"We booked this hotel at the last minute and were amazed at the location, quality of the hotel, the size of our room and the price. My only difficulty was finding the courage to drive down the cobblestone street, which is restricted to residents of the historic area. Valet parking is available for E24. The hotel faces the lively square and is 100m from the Roman bridge. "

"Quaint property with a great location. Some of the room needed a bit of a freshening and there were long dark hairs stuck to the bed linens. Normally this would have horrified me but it didn’t feel ‘dirty’, just something that happened. A short walk to Plaza Mayor and all the old town sites. Many restaurant options in a variety of price ranges. Would book there again. "

"Wonderful place - was an old convent then a military hospital. The building was constructed in the 1600's so it just radiates with character. We loved the worn marble stairs and the winding passage ways. It also has sitting areas throughout the hotel where you can sit and read or gather to talk or check emails. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place. "

"A short stroll from rail station and the town centre. Welcoming and helpful reception. Room and hotel decor added to good first impressions. I enjoyed my stay. A comfortable bed and good night's sleep are important and did not disappoint. The air conditioning was available and a door led to a Juliet balcony style for fresh air. Breakfast was basically toast and jams etc. orange juice and a hot drink. Spanish style, though an omelette would have been a nice option."
