We paid quadruple at other ryokans and this one had the best food, best location and the best onsens. It’s an older place with older, big onsens and for us that was the charm of it. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind. We went skiing one day and snowshoeing the next and ended up seeing a red fox each day. Really can’t recommend this...

Room was basic but comfortable. It's a pity the location was a little far from niseko village and there is no way of getting there in the summer. Hiking there would take close to an hour and it's mostly uphill. The only place to eat is milk kobo which is a 5 min walk. Would be a good place to stay during...
