"We stayed in the shepherd's hut, it was really lovely, private and tranquil. The wood burner is a great addition and ensured we stayed very cosy evrn though it was freezingoutside. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. "Gorgeous hotel in a spectacular setting. There is a great restaraunt on the premises, and it's a short walk to the heart of the Enniscrone village. The room was massive, and our only complaint was a lack of air conditioning, and as we found in all of the hotels we stayed at in Ireland the bedding only has a duvet. As our room was on the sunny side of the hotel the room was quite warm and the windows only opened 7" or so. We were able to get a fan which helped, and used the flat sheet from one of the other beds to sleep under intead of the duvet. So I would recommend getting a room on the ocean view side if you are staying there in the summer months. The town of Enniscrone is wonderful and worth a visit in itself. We walked for hours discovering new and interesting things along the way. As was the case in all of Ireland, the people were kind and gracious. "
