"More of a half-way house than an holiday apartment. It's miles away from everything, loud and dirty. People tried my lock three times. Cockerels below from 5am which sets off a pack of dogs nearby. Shower is a trickle. "

"We circled round the place twice in order to find it. there was no curb appeal. Parking was not easily identified. There is no front office, we came in and had to ask Restaurant staff where the hotel was, we were directed to "small office to the back of pool" In our booking we paid for bed and breakfast however we still had to pay for breakfast! Not ideal!! Room was satisfactory.. Upon entry no welcome drink or cold towel! Not even a bottle of water in fridge in room! A coffee maker...

"We enjoyed our stay at South Gap. Our room was cleaned daily, staff were pleasant, pool and view were lovely. Food at the restaurant was delicious and plenty of it! Wish we would known about happy hour sooner. We were not bothered at all by noise, which I was concerned about. I would strongly recommend this hotel and would return without hesitation. "
