"Just back from a wonderful weekend break at Tor Na Coille. Lovely large room, very comfortable. Everything was thought off, bathrobes, a good hairdryer, iron and ironing board. I loved the decor in the public rooms. Very tastefully done. The food was amazing we ending up having dinner here both nights. Breakfast was also great. Plenty choice and all cooked fresh to order. All staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother. A special mention to the young bar man and the lovely receptionist. She went above an beyond. We will definitely come back. "

"The Ship Inn is a gem! Set on a lovely beach, it is a charming place! The rooms are immaculately clean and beautiful. The mattress was so comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Walking around Stonehaven, we enjoyed the beach, the walk to the castle, and the paths in Donnotter Woods. The restaurant was great, and the included morning breakfast was very filling. All the staff were helpful, friendly, and professional. We highly recommend The Ship Inn."

"Spent 2 nights at Fife Lodge so we could explore the east coast. Staff were friendly on arrival, rooms were lovely not long been refurbished tastefully and of a high standard very clean with tea and coffee making facilities with complementary bottles of water and lovely biscuits which was a lovely touch. We ate both nights in the Lodge the food was excellent and plentiful first class service and plenty choice. We had breakfast included in our stay which was excellent cooked breakfast cooked to order, toast, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit also available. We really enjoy the hospitality of everyone and will definitely return again. The hotel was a good price for what you got."
