“great historical hotel”
really enjoyed this place; will stay again. everything was great...room, wine, front desk, dining room, massage, etc.
“good price for a nice hotel”
the hotel was really nice. hotel staff could have been friendlier. for a 4 1/2 star hotel they nickel and dime their guests... could have done without all the extra charges that add up in the end.
“My Favorite Hotel in Dallas”
As a frequent traveler to Dallas, I have had the chance to stay in many hotels in various parts of town. The Stoneleigh is a special place - super comfortable rooms, boutique hotel service, beautiful decor, and just a stone's throw from the fun bars and restaurants of Uptown and the Kady Trail.
“Visitor to Dallas”
would definitely revisit the Stoneleigh -- very nice sized rooms and comfortable.
“Not impressed; definitely not worth the price”
Indifferent service and signs of a hotel cutting costs to survive
“great place and great staff”
i landed a nice deal from a third party site and got a great rate at the stoneleigh hotel. the staff was great and very friendly i was at the bar a few times and the bartender were great and even make the effort to try and remember your name. Bolla is great and it all made out for just a great experience.
“5 Star in my book!”
Quiet honestly, after five nights, I could not figure out why this hotel did not get a 5 Diamond Rating (it's a 4?) Top quality furnsihings, ammenities, employee/service, absolutely beautiful decor, quiet, large room... I travely 3-4 weeks per month, every month, to every majoor and monor city in the country. When I go back to Daallas, I'm staying at the Stonleigh, no matter what the rate. Things "I" would change: Because I'm in the building products industry; I would put Glass Doors on the tub/shower. Also, although the food at the bar was excellent, "I" would expand the menu to include more iitems from the Great restaurant in the hotel. Anyone that has only given this hotel a "4" rating...?????
“Excellent Hotel!”
Loved this hotel. Lots of character! Friendly staff! Comfortable beds.
“Perfect hotel for our needs”
Great place to stay and the price was very reasonable! Would definitely stay there again.
“Stylish hotel but...”
The Stoneleigh is quite stylish and meets also European likes. However, staff is quite unfriendly and not very service oriented. Moreover, the hotel is at about 3km away from Dallas Downtown. As there is nearly no public transport available, taxi transport has to be considered.
