“Nice Hotel for business”
No issues other than the high speed internet being an extra charge. In a business oriented hotel, internet is a given and should be included in the price of the room.
“Quiet & clean.”
Close to the highway but good sound proofing. Quiet.
“dallas worst”
Had to ask for everything more than twice. I was ashamed of myself after living the first day. The only thing they did rapidly is charge your card.
“Business Trip”
Nice hotel but make sure you don't stay in a room near the elevator. They run all night and the noise will drive you crazy.
“Don't get there being hungry”
I chose this hotel thinking that the service would be better than most hotels, it's an Intercontinental Hotel. When I got to my room found out that the room service menu wasn't there, and then I tried to reach the front desk, the concierge and directly the room service number. None of them were available, only voice mails! To make a long story short, I had dinner more than one hour and several employees later (none of them seemed to understand a simple problem like I have no menu to order from!). The rest of my experience there was predictable, but nothing that stands out for a hotel of its class. Just plain boring.
“Great service, satisfactory accommodations”
The hotel staff was excellent. Very polite, professional and responsive. We were in Dallas to visit family and had adjoining rooms with four adults (my husband and I and our two adult children). Rooms a little tired. Stains on the carpet. Everyone had a computer and internet access was expensive and slow. We had problems with an outlet in our room but engineering came right up and fixed it. Room service and restaurant was good - food very good.
“Houkeeping”
Well i stay in a room an was confortable, the front desk and concierge are doing a good job, the same the valet parking even when they charge $18.00 a night and the parking in ten foot of the front door and is not covered. The restaurant room service was good and we have some food for the Superl Bowl on Sunday, there is the very bad think, the houkeeping was terryble. We have the leftovers or our Sunday food until we check out on Tuesday at 11:00 am. They no replace items in the Bathroom, really is very frustrating when you don't find shamppo after you jump into the shower.
“Disappointing stay”
This hotel is considered a four star hotel, so i am comparing this hotel to other four star hotels I have stayed in. The tub had a ring around it and the drain in the tub was stop up. I had to call the front desk several times to complain about different problems such as a defected iron, plug tub, and to top things off the food in th Q restuarant was cold from the buffet line. This is ok for a two star hotel but from my experience a four star hotel should not allow guests to experience such dissappointing stay.
“Check-in system down, water turned off, no movies”
When I checked in, the computer systems were down. So they said they were sorry, and expected me to wait indefinitely until they could fix the system. I told them that I was late for a very important meeting and asked them to find an unoccupied room and let me in with a master key so that I could shower and get ready for it. They did that, but then I discovered the water was turned off due to maintenance for 4 hours. Later that evening, I was looking forward to watching a movie, and the on demand movie system was down. I called to ask them to fix it, but it was never fixed. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel.
“So disappointing.”
This was rated 4 stars. Hard to understand. I have stayed in much nicer, roomier and updated rooms at Comfort Suites. We thought we were going to get a treat -- a staycation 20 miles from our house. But we were wrong. It is a business hotel, perhaps, but we expected a "roomy" room instead of small, an interesting lobby(nope) and certainly some amenities. The pool is outdoor, the weather has been warm(not hot) and it is Spring Break. The website claims It is heated, and it may have been, but that means it was slightly less cold than the tap water. The spa had a timer to turn on, but nothing happened when you did. There were children other than mine that braved the water, and had some fun. They had moved all chairs out of the pool area to make sure there would be no comfort of even sitting NEAR the pool during the nice weather. The only other thing available was a small workout room with mirrored walls, a few each of 6 kinds of machines and two small tvs on the wall. In our room, there were I think 10 channels on an analog connection. The game controller, which was also supposed to be for choosing movies, simply took the tv to a "loading" screen that froze. No movies, games or anything else available. Front desk said "sorry". 4 STARS Expedia?!? No. This is 2012 in DALLAS TEXAS and it might as well have been 1989 in Backwater, Texas.
