“Convenient location, great service and restaurant”

A couple of blocks away from the Plaza de Armas, Andean Wings is a charming place. If you want to avoid the crowds at the plaza for dinner, you can be sure of being pleasantly surprised by its restaurant. Many choices well done and superbly presented. The rooms are dark as it is a remodeled inner house and my only personal objection is about the choice of alpaca wool for blankets and down pillows getting in conflict with my allergies, but it happens in almost all places and you need the warmth. Have your loratadine at hand!! Service is obsessively good from anybody you see around at the place. Peruvians are very nice and attentive and Cusco is a great exponent of tourist oriented minds, from cab drivers to hotel. Even peddlers are not as intrusive as in other parts!

From the moment I sarted emailing the hotel with queries, Raffael was helpful and prompt with his replies and I was glad that I had booked here, as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. It was our little oasis at the end of each busy sightseeing day. The staff were attentive and very friendly and their attitude added to the whole experience. The rooms are all individually decorated which is a nice touch. The breakfast was adequate and although there is a restaurant in the hotel we did not eat there. The only negative to our room, the skylight and the window to the outside corridor, which would have been better with curtains to stop the light flooding in. The nearby church bells ringing each morning could annoy some people but we quite enjoyed them. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

“This is a Boutique Motel”

There is nothing unique about this hotel. The staff tries hard but the 16 rooms have thin walls, and the beddings, curtains, towels etc. leave a lot to be desired.
