Casa Cartagena Boutique Hotel & Spa
4.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (63)
"Absolutely Wonderful! Staff is excellent, and they go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed and assist in any way they can. We stayed 4 nights (Sept 2022) in the Master Suite and found the facility to be exceptional and yet not crowded. The breakfast buffet, and restaurant are well above your normal continental breakfast, they will cook you and omelet/poach eggs for you but the other food may tempt you enough that you won’t need anything cooked to order. The spa is perfect, and they will...

"A lovely small hotel with nicely appointed rooms on a quiet one way street. It is just a few blocks up the hill from the heart of Cusco. Breakfasts are delicious and can be enjoyed in one’s room, on the terrace, or in the breakfast room. A really lovely place with beautiful plants in the small courtyard. "

"One of the best services was a taxi driver recommended by the hotel. His name is Jaime Huaman. He spoke good English, took us on tours and was prompt and responsible for 4 separate trips. This recommendation by the hotel made a big difference in our visit. "

Hotel Hacienda Cusco Plaza
3.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (41)
"If you had the unfortunate experience of booking in this hotel, you show up and they offer you room 805, demand another room. It’s horrible! It’s all the way in the attic where the WiFi doesn’t even reach! The bathroom doesn’t even come with the now standard bottled water. The shower is a trickle and the hot water turns either very hot or cold while you’re showering! I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star but for the nice desk person who checked us in last night."

2.5 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (20)
"The hotel is well situated in the city of Cusco. The room was clean and bathroom very efficient. Hot water was provided, however it was difficult to temper the water. The room was on the upper level and did not have heat. I slept with my coat and hat on as the temperature does drop to 36 Fahrenheit at night. I ended up staying an extra night. Check out was very painful. I needed to do get my change and processed to the airport. It took me over 30 minutes to rectify at the bar."
