Great location. The bathroom is very old and in need of complete remodeling. The room also seemed to need a better cleaning job. The staff is great though.

It was agreat place in a great location after we had the rooms stratenged out. Tried to put us in a down graded room but when called on it we received the room we rented from expedia. Plan to file a complaint as this has happened at every place in Peru we reserved through expedia. Iy did not happen when we went through other agencies

Good location in Cusco
Staff was excellent and very helpful and gave good information on what to see in the area. Part of the hotel was an Inca wall, complimentary breakfast very good, right off the main square of Cusco.

Very good hotel located very close to Plaza del Armas. Spacious room with hot water. Breakfast was okay. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with cheap laundry prices as well.

Pros: plenty of hot water and right on the plaza. Beds are comfortable enough. Cons: cleanliness is lacking. Safe drinking water is not available we had to buy from the shop next door. Service was not terrible but also not anything special.

Awesome location. I wanted to stay in one if the nicest, but 4-5 star hotels are far from the center. This one was really nice confy, clean and staff were really nice.

Nice hotel, right off of the main plaza
Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread is good. Location is great, except you can hear the nightclubs that are right next door. It wasn't particularly an issue for us because we stayed on the 4th floor. Highly recommend.

Cusco's main square hotel
This has to be the best location in cusco with a 10 second walk to the main plaza. There is everything in that plaza from your tours, food, and entertainment. The location made this hotel. The breakfast was a little on the weak side but made due. We used the spa one night and relaxed. Most employees spoke English there. The wifi was really slow too. But if you're going to cusco stay here

New Years in Cusco
We spent new years in Cusco and the location of the hotel couldn't be beat. Its location right in the heart of the city makings exploring very easy. The hotel was very nice and quite comfortable.

Great location - bad neighbors
Chose this hotel based on price and location. Was going to be staying here after the work part of my trip in a different part of the country, but ended up staying an entire week. The location on the Plaza de Armas is wonderful. It's easy to get a cab and there is plenty to eat nearby. The downside, and it's a big one that I missed when reading other reviews, is that there is a nightclub that shares a wall with the hotel. If you are going to be clubbing all night anyway, it may not be a big deal. But if you have to get up early for work or to go on a tour, beware. The nightclub will keep you awake until they close. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but a few nights the very loud music lasted until after 3. On one night it was way past that. Getting up to take a taxi to Poroy for a trip to Machu Picchu was very hard after being kept awake until after 4 am! I wasn't really expecting it, but I was still disappointed when I asked about checking out late (my departing flight was at 7:40 pm) and was told that it would cost an extra USD40. Considering the noise issue and the fact that we ended up staying for an entire week, I was hoping for a little leniency, but it didn't happen. I guess as a tourist hotel, they probably don't expect to see customers again anyway. I don't have any experience with other area hotels to know if what I experienced was the norm for the city or not, but if there are other hotels without nightclubs right next door, I strongly recommend that over this hotel.

Arrived in Cuzco at 5AM, Staff was extremely courteous, apologized that room was not available until 8AM (try that in US). Checked my bags, got me coffee and made me comfortable in the lounge. Single room was small but immaculate, only problem was lack of ventilation, else a 5. Staff was excellent, location ideal (right off Plaza de Aremas) and rates good. Breakfast OK, no special amenities it's a small homey hotel. There is a laundry next door and restaurants and small markets within 50 yards. Highly recommend for the casual traveler.

Terrific location
Great location right near the Plaza D'armas. Very helpful staff regarding any enquiries. Good buffet breakfast starting at 5.00am to allow for early starts to Machu Picchu. Room a little stuffy but otherwise fine.

Horrible. This hotel seemed nice via pictures, but the bathrooms ventilate into the dining room, so the whole lobby smells like a toilet. The manager was unresponsive (even via multiple attempts to ask about hotel and train transfers), and when we asked them about it, when we finally did arrive, they said that they have the wrong email addresses on their website. They said that they would call us a taxi to the airport...and go figure, when we go to the lobby with all of our bags...no taxi. When we tried to pay them at the end of the stay, they said that they had their own conversion rate for soles (higher than the actual exchange rate). I would be weary of this hotel. Would not recommend to anyone. There are lots of hotels near the Plaza, much better options.

Nice clean hotel in ideal location
Was impressed with this hotel located just off Plaza de Armas right in the centre of Cusco. Good value, clean rooms and buffet breakfast included. The only slight disadvantage was that sometimes late at night it was possible to hear music from the club next door, but it could only be heard slightly and earplugs were provided in the room for this.

A Trip To Machu Picchu
We were very happy to book this hotel on our trip to Machu Picchu toThe hotel is located only minutes from the train station. Hotel room is very clean. We were able to borrow many personal electrical stuff (AC adapter, hair dryer etc...)from the front office. Hotel staff and all people we met at the hotel were very friendly and willing to give help. When we left for Machu Picchu, We could leave our bags at the hotel and got it back on the return trip. Inshort, this is a new and decent hotel for its price to stay.

This place is pretty much near everything and it's honestly the most ideal location when you stay in Cusco. It's VERY safe and nice area, and the hotel itself is nice. I have to admit though, it is quite small and cramped. It felt very small and the bed was very stiff, but overall, it was great for the price. I paid about $50/night and for that, it's a bargain. Will definitely stay here if i come again.

This hotel has a fantastic location in Cusco.
The hotel has an early 11am check in time. The staff speak good English and are helpful with organising transport. I felt safe. The hotel has good security. My room was very quiet. The night club next door has closed for good and will never re-open.

Very convenient for our trip.
Very accommodating staff, we were traveling from Cuzco to Aguas Calientes, and left our luggage at their storage, as we returned from Macchu Picchu the next day. Very clean, I will stay there next time I visit Cuzco.

Good choice
The hotel is located within 50 feet of the Main Square so even if the cab refuses to get into that little street (Calle Suecia), you'll be fine just getting out and walking there. Room was clean and they give you a complimentary safe box if you wanna keep your passport and money there. The staff was helpful answering questions and giving advice about the activities around the area. Breakfast was good.

Great hotel next to everything
After arriving back in Cusco from our trip to Machupiccu, we were exhausted and looking for a good nights rest. Del Prado offered much comfort, clean rooms, clean bathrooms and great breakfast. My only critique would be the location. The hotel sits next to a night club that we could hear loud music all night. The hotel was nice enough to have ear plugs in our room when we arrived. Other than that it is great!

I have stayed here twice and would go back again. The rooms are very comfortable; lots of hot water. The staff is very accomodating. You can leave your luggage there when you go off to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley and it will be waiting in your room when you return. The location is great; about 10 steps from the Plaza de Armas.

The hotel is in a perfect location just a few feet from the main town square, location cant get better than than, the price is excellent. Rooms are clean and neat, with good space, only downside is the city water, sometimes its white, and it not chlorine, pass this everything is excellent, many good restaurants in the vicinity. The good: price and location The bad: water is heavy in minerals for washing teeth The ugly: if you are a light sleeper then ask for a room in the back because there is a disco just half a block away and it can get a bit loud at night

Very good but....
this is an ideal location and the staff were very helpful at almost every turn. The location is known for it's noisy bars at night and the hotel actually gives you ear plugs. I never heard any noise and thus didn't need ear plugs. My only issue was mid-way thru my stay I woke up to a flooding room. The room above me had real issues with the shower pipe breaking and it flooded my room. The hotel moved me to another room and actually downgraded me to another room the size of a closet. Smaller and no ac ! Yikes I was quite disappointed and had to argue with them to move me a day later(after very hot night) to a room with ac and back to a size larger than a closet. Had it not been for the room issue and their decision to downgrade me because of their water issues.......I would have given them 5 stars.....

Very easy to get to know the people. They are all very helpful. Just a couple of steps from the square, there is a log going on. Unfortunately the thumping drum beat lasted until 3am.

great location right off of the Plaza de Armes! beautiful room with a huge bathtub and a staff that goes above & beyond expectations of great service. the only problem is the nightclub next door: you are provided earplugs but that doesn't keep out the bass pumping. the only blemish on this otherwise perfect hotel.

For the price, I epected a lot less but was pleased that the staff and the facility exceeded my expectations. The location is great, the staff friendly and accomodating, breakfast available at 5AM, decorations are charming. Will go back and will recommend to others

Nice little place off of Plaza de Armas
The hotel is in a great location. The staff were highly professional and friendly. The only problem is a bar two doors down that blasts loud disco music from 10 pm to about 6 am. Be sure to ask for a room in the back of the hotel to avoid the noise and thumping vibration.
