Set in the heart of Cromarty and enjoying sea views from the upstairs bedroom, this property makes a magical base to explore the area.. Located just a few steps from the sea, this lovely former fisherman’s cottage has been sympathetically and beautifully renovated to a high standard and is furnished and equipped to ensure as comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible. Tides, one of a pair, is set in the heart of Cromarty’s conservation area, with its cobbled streets, quaint shops and restaurants and lovely Georgian architecture. The village makes the perfect base for exploring this unspoilt and scenic part of the Highlands. Mountain biking, fishing, sea trips and water sports, golf and hill walking are just a few of the many activities this area has to offer. Take a trip to Inverness, the Highland Capital, Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and Fort George, all within easy reach. Take a walk up the ‘Hundred Steps’ to South Sutor; The Sutors are rocks on either side of the Cromarty Firth once thought to be the abode of two giant shoemakers. Cromarty cottage
This is a very comfortable and cosy cottage in an amazing location. It is well equipped down to fresh eggs, milk and juice in the fridge and a loaf of bread.
