Always an easy and comfortable stay.
We stayed in the hotel when it first opened and they still are attentive and engaged with all their guests. The restaurant on the ground floor was a nice addition to the stay.

We really enjoyed this property. The room we had was not large but we visited with many other families and it seems this is normal and they paid a lot more than we did. Exceptionally clean, good workout room, nice outdoor patio by equipment room and off our room. Never been to another hotel that offers a free smartcar rental. Great place to stay.

Very clean, friendly staff...no extra pillows available, had to retrieve more towels myself, restaurant was not open on weekends, construction all around hotel. Uber was $20 to Lausanne or walk to bus. For what I spent on Uber’s Zi could have rayed closer to Lake Geneva

Not the most scenic location, however the price was right, and it was easy to get around via Uber, and car rental. The hotel is modern, and clean. The rooms are ample size.

grate - only with car!
the hotel net and very comfortable -his staff were grate- but, the location was far away from enywere! in the middel of an industrial area....you have to have a car.

Practical location although there is construction going on all around the place. High variance staff - some were professional and attentive, others were terrible.

The rooms have a modern, distinctive style and we had a large terrace to sit out on. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Overall great value for money for the room. For public transport there are bus stops within walking distance and Renens train station is also walkable.

Very nice hotel with a convenient location close to the motorway. The area directly around the hotel is not particularly pleasant, but the hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. I will stay here again.

Nice hotel for business travel. Convenient parking upfront. Breakfast is ok but not more then that. I think the price is too high for that kind of breakfast. Construction is all around but windows are good quality and no noise in the room.

Discovery Hotel
We had a rental car and the hotel was but a short trip into Lausanne and provided ample parking which was convenient. Otherwise no qualms with the room and our stay. Comfortable rooms and well kept.

Good business option.
Good choice for a business hotel if you have business in the area. Hard to get around without a car since it is surrounded by construction and in a more industrial business area. But the location is good if using taxi & Uber like I did. Quiet, good amenities on-site & clean. Internet was weak in-room but very strong in public areas. Restaurant staff was very nice & polite. English-speaking. Wouldn’t wander too far around the property at night until construction finishes on nearby property. Otherwise this hotel was affordable and nice.

Great hotel
I spent ten days in this hotel, and my overall opinion is very good. The hotel rooms are very clean and air conditioned and the restaurant is very nice. This hotel is much nicer than what the online picture suggests. The hotel staff could be friendlier and helpful, but they are very professional. Overall, it was an excellent choice. I will recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hotel and very friendly hotel staff!!
We spent two days there. The hotel is located very close to Geneva Airport (appx 35' drive), so it suits those interested to road trips to central Switzerland. Hotel staff are among the most friendly ever seen in my travelling experience! Whenever we had an inquiry of whatever nature they were there to help us!!! The hotel has plenty of space to park your car, and is located opposite to a field of sunflowers, which was an extra for photoshooting lovers!!! Congratualtions guys, keep up the good work!! Forgot to mention the free access to the gym on the top floor!

Nice hotel for business
Stayed at the Discovery several times over the past couple of years and the service, cleanliness and food have always been excellent. Only slight issue I have is that there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room although you do receive a free bottle of water.

For anyone who needs WiFi this hotel is unacceptable. Although it says that free WiFi is available, there really isn't any usable WiFi. I stayed in this hotel for six nights. The first three nights there was absolutely no WiFi signal. The front desk simply told me that there was nothing they could do about it, that it was most likely because there were too many guests in the hotel! After insisting, they finally addressed the problem on the third day. Their "fix" made the WiFi signal finally visible, but that did not help much as the connection was so slow that it took several minutes to open a simple internet page. I had to email files that were about 2MB in size and these never went through.

We stayed here for six days as a base camp while we visited our daughter who was living in Lausanne for the summer and visited some other sites in Switzerland. It is near the highway (but not so near as to have a problem with noise) and nothing in Lausanne is too far away, typically 10-15 minutes driving. We had a car. If you want to rely completely on public transportation then you may need something more in the center of town though I think there may be a train stop not too far away.

The room was tiny but very clean. The hotel was close to a nice shopping center, however it is not close to the train. I recommend this hotel if you have a rental car.

A bit disappointing this time.
We were a bit disappointed actually. Paying almost 200 for the room we didn't think it unreasonable to call the front dest at 9pm to request 2 more pillows. However, it must have been a very large inconvenience to them. We were told the housekeeping staff was gone and wouldn't return until the next day. Horrible customer service this stay. We've stayed at least a dozen times since they opened and we even stayed before they furnished the rooms (only a bed). At least then the customer service was better.

A fairly new business hotel, in great condition, very clean, good facilities. Restaurant food is good, but pricy. Location is not the best, you will need a car.

New Hotel Outside Lausanne -Difficult To Find
Relatively new hotel. Very difficult to find and get to even with GPS. Very few guests present. No restaurant services when there.
