The older lady that checked us in was rude. She sat at the computer mumbling - not sure if she was talking to me or to herself as I could not understand her. I booked a king bed on Expedia and she wanted us to take a queen bed. The room was very small but clean. Definitely would not stay here again.

Its a good spot, I opted to stay here because it was very close to where needed to handle my personal arrangements in Cranbrook. The room was in good condition and had the basic essentials, no issues whatsoever. Check out time was 11am but my ride wasn't going to arrive by that time slot so i asked for a extended checkout until 12 noon and it was granted.

For the price, this motel is pretty good. It is on a little triangle of land that fronts on to a fairly busy street. Because it is an older building, it lacks good sound-proofing, so traffic on the street could be easily heard from my second-floor room. The room itself and the bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Furnishings are quite dated and marked up a bit. The bathroom is small but adequate. The shower worked well but it took quite a long time for hot water to reach the taps. The parking lot on the office side is meant for smaller vehicles, however, there was room for my truck on the other side of the building. No recycling bin in the room and no mention of conservation in the bathroom. The fridge was larger than the usual motel room units, which could be advantage for some travelers. I didn't use the internet so I can't comment on its speed. The lady at the checkin desk was brusque and business like. I was curtly informed "No smoking, no pets." Although I had reserved a second-floor room I was at first offered a ground floor room. This was quickly resolved.

Customer service was friendly and helpful, Rooms were on the small size, but for an overnight stay was good, clean and bed and pillows were comfortable and clean.

This was our 5th stay we always stay here when we are in Cranbrook. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spotless. Road noise usually gets quiet around 11pm, all the hotels along the strip are noisy! There is no microwave in the king room but if you read the details about the room you will know that. If you are older be aware that there are stairs to go up to get to the room. The price for the rooms is fair compared to some places we have stayed at. We will be back again. Thanks to the owners for keeping the place so clean and thanks for the chocolates at the front desk. Merry Christmas 🎄

It is not fancy, but it is exceptionally well maintained and is a family run business, very accomodating to your needs. I stay there because it is very clean and quiet, like the owners, nice people.

Hidden gem
The rooms are spacious and very clean. The owner upgraded us to a better room when she was able to see that the one we booked wouldn't suit us well. I really appreciated that. Nothing fancy but clean well kept and bed was comfy

Stayed at the motel before and it was great facing the highway. However if you stay on ground level facing away from the highway, the walls are very thin and the noise each night from someone talking Spanish for several hours into the night, a lady opening and closing her car several times at 0600 resulted in very poor sleep. If you stay, choose your room. Not ground floor.

Great hotel for the price, very nice people and beautiful flowers. I loved the out door spaces, picnic table and table and chairs on the 3rd floor. Only areas for improvement would be an ice machine and posted hours for the office. Thanks for a great stay!
