“OK at a steep discount”
The staff was courteous, the rooms older but adequately maintained. We did not partake of the amenities (pool, breakfast, themed rooms) since we checked in late, slept, showered and left. The motel is very convenient to I-75, in a mostly commercial neighborhood with fast-food and chain restaurants nearby.
“The kids had a blast!!”
The room was a "normal" Room but was very clean, The hotel could be updated but was great the staff was friendly. The pool area was awesome! The kids spent all their time there and loved every second of it. very close to the Newport Aquarium.
“Great for the money”
The only problem we had with the hotel was our room was right beside the door to the outside and the ice machine so we could hear all that noise but other than that it was great.
“HOTEL WAS VERY NICE”
it was a very nice hotel
“Worth a nite away”
The room we stayed in was a spa suite. The room was nice but you could tell it was a old room. It could use some updates and some new paint. The dome are was not very clean. I did not even use the pool or the hot tub because it did not look like it was clean to me around the whole area there. The customer service was very friendly. Over all it was not a bad place to go and will try a theme suite next time.
“Nice hotel but needs some updating”
We stayed for 2 nights and had a good time mainly because of the wonderful dome area with pools and waterfall hot tub. The pool also has cascading water above it as well. These all made for a very relaxing stay. The rooms were a bit outdated and lacked the modern feel but overall a very nice stay. Next time will stay in the themed rooms which are very nice.
“nice!”
we didn't spend a lot of time there but the kids enjoyed the pool area
“ehh”
It was ok. It was nice but the bed was very uncomfortable
“Fun time”
We are from Cincinnati and wanted a short getaway for our anniversary. This was a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the indoor pool and waterfall spa. The dry sauna was a nice touch. Our room (the artic cave) was comfortable but didn't have great a/c circulation, but it wasn't a problem for us. Complimentary breakfast was good.
“a strange but enjoyable place”
This was a decent hotel--we stayed in one of the regular jacuzzi rooms. The building in general seems old and a little shabby. It's not in disrepair or anything--just an older building with the requisite odd hallways, annexes, etc. But the room was clean and comfortable. It had its own heating system which had a thermostat but it was a little hard to get a consistent temperature. The jacuzzi was GREAT and soaked all our cares away after a long day of running around museums and attractions in Cincinnati. The room could benefit from some potted plants or a little additional decoration, and the shower was very small. The "tropical dome" pool was cool but a little cheesy. They have a hot tub there that's in a rock grotto that looked neat but I didn't use it. Overall, it was kind of a quirky place, but comfortable and an easy drive from activities in Cincinnati. I would go back sometime and try one of their theme rooms.
