The worst place ever, there were roaches in our room, the window was shattered, the toilet got clogged and they had no plunger, the door was falling apart, there was a light outside our room that was flashing all night, the bed my in laws slept in was broken. This place was absolutely disgusting.

This place was fantastic! Right on the water with its own private fishing pier that’s 1/4 mile long! The owner and staff were fantastic and very nice.

Roaches in the room. Smoke detector hanging from ceiling. Pier is partially lit in the water, but no lights to be able to identify what you caught Place has a lot of potential, but has been run down more & more. Have went here numerous times over the years. I can say this was the last time I will stay here. The pool was green as well when we walked by it

There was roaches all through out our room. The room I selected did not have kitchenette as pictured when asked about it they said it would be a $297 up charge when wanting to cancel the stay they said I would be charged anyway. The food we took to cook in room was basically useless. So that was annoying. Really had no choice other than to stay and was just uncomfortable and tried to stay out of the room as long as possible. Also the ac did not work on the second day at all so that was great. Couldn’t even call and complain cause they do answer the phones at all. Expedia even tried to contact the property regarding roaches and they couldn’t get a hold of them either. Pool was cloudy, couldn’t even see our legs. The property has Soo much potential sad it didn’t appear as pictured.

This the nastiest place ever stayed. Mold everywhere especially shower. Frig smelled of fish floors not swept. No refund offered. Was not cheap we booked for pier which was in didpair. Oh and door didn’t shut properly!!

It needs some TLC. It would be good if the elevator would work for elders. Would b nice if pool would close at 11pm 🙂 front desk was really nice and helped out my family with check in.

Their were bed bugs and no hot water. We felt unsafe in our room. We had people knocking on our door in the middle of the night. Air condition was leaking water all over the floor.

I will never come back again. I felt unsafe and had people knocking on my door in the middle of the night. Air conditioner was leaking. I think their were bed bugs and roaches in the room. And to top it all off their was no hot water to shower. For the price it should have been so much better. I will pay double of what I paid for to stay somewhere else next time.

The only thing we did like was the pier behind the hotel. The room reeked of mold. The walls in the bathroom had exposed mold. Not sure when rooms are cleaned, if ever. Hair in our bed, dead flies everywhere, refrigerator was dirty. There is no way this place should average 3 stars. It is a dump! Never again! We drove around to find something different next time we visit.

Booked room going off pics ect. Checked in . Literally walked in room and walked back out . Looked as if there were people living in there . The sheets were dirty, mold on the wall . Bugs . Went to get a refund and they were rude about it and that Expedia would have to do something far as the refund. Very disappointed!

Unhappy Easter!
Check in was quick, but the room was terrible! The sheets were stained with either rust or old blood! The pullout mattress was covered in mold. Underneath the pullout couch was disgusting old food and toys, no house keeping was done while we were there. No fresh sheets, fresh towels nothing. Like if it was a problem to ask for some clean ones. They didn’t even have a spare pillow to give and it wasn’t even busy!

Here is the deal. It is not going to be the Hilton. However when traveling with teens and dogs and a whole circus of your own making it provides accessible preteen and up entertainment. My boys fished and swam in the pool the entire time. I was able to relax and had a full sized fridge for drinks and snacks. Worked out well for me.

Ive roughed it out before, but i have NEVER seen such dirty rooms in ALL MY TRAVELS. They need to seriously book some DEEP CLEANING services ASAP. I have photos & am waiting for a refund. I tried my best to stay there with my family because they dont offer refunds, which I understood but i better get something back with the proof I have. BEDS WERE DISGUSTING, built up dust on top of EVERYTHING, water covering floor from ac unit. ETC ETC!

WE ARE SORRY YOU HAD SUCH A BAD VISIT. there are a number of signs in the office ware you come to register that states that guests are to ask to visit room first before registering because there will be no refunds. we will honor a cancelation if there was a reservation after viewing the room. it's often that guests are in a big hurry to start their vacation that Thay do not ask to see the room appointed to them at check in time and even then, we don't hear complaints from those guests unless Thay are being denied a refund for something or another, we do have lots or tourists that stop by wanting to take photos of their family's standing in front of an old castle or by our Beautyful blue pool and jacuzzi. the guest love to sit by the water on weekends and listen to the music playing by our one and only Dj who comes every fri & sat we have lots of fun doing karaoke also. it is a very old castle with a history worth researching. there are some cracks and bumps, but our rooms are clean, and the staff are very accommodating.
