“would go back anytime”
We enjoyed our stay at Higher Faugan. The room was clean, we had a nice view and it was a very quiet environment only 5 minutes from the main street. If you are looking for a "bed and breakfast" feel without having to meet and share rooms with other guests, this is a great place to go to.
“Generally Good”
Nice guest house - breakfast is continental but nice. Room & bed a little small for a double. V. Clean & manager v friendly & helpful.
“Not a hotel”
Very pleasant but very expensive for Bed and Breakfast accommodation and the FULL breakfast was yogurts and cereal to help yourself to in the room.
“cold and uncaring”
Mine host was noticable by his absense. The emphasis was on telling you what you couldnt do and where you couldnt go. The lack of a breakfast room for this standard of "Hotel"? B and B would be better, was noticable and the standard of self service breakfast in the bedrrom was poor.to call it complimentary is an easy opt out for poor quality. Overall we felt it was something they had to do to keep the house and the more they could keep the guests out the way in their rooms the better. Not to be recommended unless its for an enemy.
