Amazing Stay!
We, 6 boys, spent 3 nights here in this apartment for a friend's engagement and we all said the accommodation was perfect! The location is excellent, spacious, clean and very accommodating. The rooms were decent, the kitchen and lounge were more than what you could ask for and the view of the sea was breathtaking. We recommend anyone travelling to Newquay for a trip whether it be with family or friends to strongly consider this accommodation. 10/10 from me and the boys - many thanks!

Best place to stay on the Cornish coast. Apartment fully furnished for less than the cost a cramped hotel room. Good dining choices. Away from the congestion of Newquay and close to Mawgan Porth. 5 minute walk to the beach. We spent 4 days and it was perfect for us.

Good: Location is great, right next to Watergate Bay. Apartments are pretty new. Bad: Cleanliness. Towels and sheets were clean. Bathroom was semi clean. There are carpets in most of the apartment and they were full of dust and that makes the air hard to breathe. Luckily it was not too cold and we were able to sleep with the windows open. And then the corridors in the building seemed like they didn't have a good clean in quite a while.

Thank you for your constructive feedback although we are surprised and disappointed to read your comments about the cleanliness, particularly as this is out of kilter with the vast majority of other reviews for this property.You have not stated which apartment you stayed in so it is difficult for us to investigate a specific apartment, however, all apartments are cleaned on a regular basis, as are the hallways and stairs. We would respectfully point out that due to our coastal location, we attract a high number of walkers and surfers. As such we have boot brushes outside by the front doors and doormats outside each apartment door, but we can’t force guests to use them! Please be assured we very regularly clean the stairs and corridors from top to bottom but by the time we empty the mop bucket you can bet that someone will have walked in with muddy boots or sandy footwear. We take particular car with the cleanliness of the apartments and we will have to respectfully agree to disagree with regard to your comment about the carpets.

Short trip
Well located apartment for walking the coastal paths. Apartments vary in views therefore best to check if sea views are from one chosen. Facilities were as described on website.

Thoroughly recommend.
Last minute booking and so impressed with the apartment. Small mix up as search engine hadn’t picked up that we required dog friendly so incurred an additional cleaning charge but honestly we were so pleased with the apartment. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

we have stayed in a few of the spartments now snd assume that this time we had one that will be refurbed.. The apartment is great ; our expetience of the facilities was that the kitchen needs some attention. The dishwasher did not work effectively , the fridge just has one freezer shelf and there was little worktop space and the bread bin was half sized..( we were staying for a week) the most difficult issue for us was that the bed had a waterproof mattress protector ( or we assume that because it was so hot together with a thick duvet making us quite uncomfortable.. the showers were lovely and plenty of towels were availanble. we would be happy to recommend the apartments and assume that some of the above are already noted.

First class accommodation
First class accommodation, spotlessly clean. On arrival booking in was effortless and took only minutes. We had booked a last minute three night short break and we were so pleased at what we had chosen. We were also given a large corner balcony with a great sea view.

Positioned just a short walk from the beach this is a perfect place for everyone who wants a beach activity holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as the apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped for our needs.

Perfect location for Watergate Bay with a great view. Apartment was tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well equiped with electric oven/hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher, and plenty of crockery. Beds were all very comfortable with plenty of extra pillows/blankets.

We had a 3 night break with a last minute booking and no great expectations. The property was a 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. What a view. From the lounge and balcony, a panoramic view of the sea. We were able to see the surfers from early morning until dusk. The property was well maintained with every thing we needed. Very comfortable beds with spotless bedding and loads of towels. Onsite parking was a huge bonus. Plenty of choice of places to eat but MUST be booked prior.The only downside was the very steep 3 sets of steps to the apartment, hard going carrying luggage. However the confirmation email did state the property was not suitable for anyone disabled. Management are currently addressing an issue with access instructions when booking less than 3 days in advance. We would use this property again.

Comfortable, great views and balcony, free carpark
Enjoyed our stay here, very comfy and great views and walks. Excellent food at Wax bar two doors up, dogs welcome! Very "snug" carpark, just enough for our hired small VW, but free so not complaining! Loved watching the surfers and the bull on the hill. Balcony was nice but sad not allowed to hang our washing on it so did in our lounge! Recommended.

Fantastic apartment, great location
The apartment was very pleasant and very easy to find. The on-site parking makes it very convenient. The only small inconvenience was the showers that were a bit low on pressure and only one of them could be used at a time - but it certainly won’t deter us from staying again.

Sea view apartment
The location of this apartment is very useful for accesss to the beach and countryside walks , although the weather was not the best the views of the Atlantic Ocean were fabulous and you could hear the sound of the waves

Clean apartment in a great location; literally a 5 minute walk from the beach and 10 minute drive into Newquay town centre. The only thing that lets it down is the late check in (4pm) and early check out (10am) times. Other than that it was great and I would definitely stay here again.

The accommodation is very near to the beach, and each room has 1 allocated parking space. The room was clean and tidy but looks dated and tired, also there was no daily cleaning and fresh towels, I would have expected this as standard, for the price being charged. If you want something close to the beach in this very popular area, it’s fine but the premium at peak times is expensive for the accommodation actually delivered.

To be fair, this is not normally included for self catering accommodation and I'm not aware of any company that does include this as standard. Daily servicing is normally associated with hotel accommodation. A pleasant stay.
Overall a good stay in a good location. The property itself is ok but a little tired in places. Check in was simple. Just picked up our key from the key safe. Beds very comfy - mattresses were pocket sprung. Plenty of towels and bedding (we converted the sofa bed for the kids to sleep on). There’s a bar (Wax) next door but noise didn’t bother us. Didn’t really interact with staff except to drop off keys but they were pleasant enough. For breakfast we ate at the Beach Hut on a couple of the days. 5 mins walk down the road but make sure you reserve as it can get busy (can be done on their website). There’s Fifteen but you will need to book early. Beautiful Watergate beach. We weren’t surfers but kids enjoyed playing in the sand.

Great view from the apartmentt
Very well equipped apartment and a lovely view to the beach. If not cloudy you will see a great sunset. Mawgan Porth a couple of miles away has a great local store with some artisan foods.

Great apartment, great area.
Great apartment even without sea views, larger than expected. Staff helpful, though only available in person an hour in the morning & afternoon, which meant it was difficult to catch them to sort out not having any hot water (we were out most of the time they were available). Had everything you needed though. Area great, but missing a little shop. Wax and Beach Hut a must, avoid Jamie Oliver's Fifteen if you're looking for a cheap meal (Wax was far larger meal, for cheaper, and atmosphere more relaxed). Buses to Newquay/Padstow once an hour, though rarely show up on time. Would definitely return to the apartment and the area.

Fantastic Location
Good value for money, large apartment, very dated odd wooden furniture. Equiped to a reasonable standard. Would have liked the option of a double bed but only twins provided in the one bed apartments. Parking spaces are quite a tight fit for 4x4's . Apartment had ensuite cloakroom and a seperate shower room ( no bath) . wifi was very hit and miss but free ! Located next to Phoenix Pub within a couple of minutes walk from Watergate Bay & Fifteen Restaurant
