"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

Keith and Jean met us an hour earlier than we had first planned, securing a parking space for us right outside the property. We unloaded the car before moving it to a car park a few minutes walk away. We paid £6 for 24 hours on the App and left the car there for the majority of our stay. The apartment is beautifully furnished, warm and cosy, with all the little extras that are so often lacking in holiday...

"The property itself was very pleasant. Clean and comfortable. The only issue was that the parking was for the most part genuinely impossible. The property is on a hill and the street is just barely two cars wide. Cars parked on either side of the road (although not opposite each other) and the very small "turning" spaces half way down and at the end were often parked in. This meant that parking was actually several blocks away and required a nominal "pay and display" cost. In the long run, it...
