“Graduation visit.”
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was not what I expected at all.
“Renovations needed.”
This hotel was clean, but needs major renovations. The steps and balcony bounce when you walk on them. The beds were very hard. All of the fixtures and hinges were rusty looking. The paint was coming off the walls. The TV was not clear. It looks like the hotel would have been nice in the late 80's. The room was very small by today's standards.
“would NEVER go back”
We did not have hot water the 3 nights we were there. Told mgr about this 1st night, they gave us a different room. Told me I must like my shower scaullding hot....I complained when we checked out mgr would only give me a small portion of the total bill refund bc I had booked through expedia. Several other things didn't work; ie alarm clock, bedside lamp, couldn't get the heater regulated, either very cold or very hot. Not pleased at all.
“Very sad place”
Wow, what a job they did on me. I actually called as my assistance was so excited she found me a hotel near the plant and at a great price. I called to see if this was a Hotel or a Motel and was told it was a Hotel. I asked about the price and they just said that is the Days Inn promise. When I arrived I saw it was a Motel with access from the outside (no security), I require a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. When I went to ask for a new room, I was told that was a no smoking room. I know smoke and the burn marks on the edge of the tub were a sure sign! Checked out, of course they would not give a refund based on their checkout policy and moved down the road 2 miles to a Fairfield Inn.
“won't stay there ever again”
hotel was in very poor condition & dirty.
“Days Inn in Concord N.C. NEVER GO BACK”
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The building itself was in poor condition. When you walk in the lobby/breakfast area it stinks. The headboard the our room was broke. We checked out the next day. Very, Very unsatisified.
