It is an ok location. They need to do a better job of wiping down all the surfaces. The mirror edges & lamps were covered in a powdery substance which you could see fingerprints in it. I did a real thourough clean job after they cleaned, cuz I couldn't leave it dirty. The people all seemed very nice and friendly.

The weekend staff is a hateful old lady, the housekeeping staff wants you gone by 9 and they are quite vocal about it, in between a CBD gas station and a construction pit, with a pathetic mexican restaurant onsite that wont mix a margarita outside happy hour. Avoid this place, spend the extra $4 and stay somewhere nice with professional staff.

I’m very disappointed in this hotel because they took my money and I didn’t stay at the place! It was around 8pm and the wrong hotel was ordered. I tied everything to fix the issue and was told I had to take a loss. I don’t believe that’s fair because error happens. They wouldn’t let me change my hotel or cancel. They hotel was 3 hours away from where we was and I just drove 8 hours and was tried, cold and sleepy! I had insurance and was told No change of anything. So I had to pay for another hotel and very disappointed in the Expedia.

Staff was hateful, checked on extending my stay and the woman went off on me. Housekeeping are horrid, pestering from 8:30 until 11am checkout time. Moved to the America's Best for my last 3 weeks, that place was great

Terrible service and location
The employee at check in was very cranky and not friendly at all. The hotel had NO green space for walking puppies. We had to load them up in the car and drive to a safe walking space. The area was VERY noisy, so we didn’t sleep well. Left early to get away from the location. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

The property is immaculately clean, the staff does it’s job, the facility is bare bones. It meets 4 important criteria: clean, quiet, safe, affordable. It is fine for an overnight stay, and then leave. I would not recommend it for a weekend getaway - it’s just not a fun place, kinda depressing.

This was not my first time staying here and I have been happy in the past. It might be my last time though. I had a dog with me as I've had in the past, and the reservation was made saying I had a dog. While checking in I was informed the dog was an additional fee not already figured into the amount I had already paid (prepaid). Okay. The room was neat enough on first glance but there was dried blood on the toilet seat and down the front of the bowl. There were cigarette burn holes in both the blanket on the bed and the bedspread. And not that it really matters, but to add insult to injury, there were only 5 or 6 TV channels. Disappointed.

Very old hotel but it has been remodeled. The room was nice and had a lot of room.. I really liked that the old carpet was gone and replaced by vinyl plank flooring. I would stay here again

The room condition was dirty and terribly outdated. Stained sheets and towels and bathroom in poor condition. Air conditioner leaked and very noisy. Requested accessible and non-smoking but received neither. I had stayed here twice before but will never stay again. Also it felt unclean to sleep in the beds and use the bathroom.

Dirty rooms long stay guest’s barbecue in the parking lot in front of the rooms til all hours of the night. Property manager carol is a nightmare to deal with.

Had staff take stuff out of my room and then deny they did. Carol the lady that works up front is extremely rude. She had her boyfriend or meth friend named Andy threaten to beat me up or if I step foot in Clayton again he will see that it’s my last. Rooms were dirty cleaned half ways.

When I got to the room, the bed was not neat...sheets stained. Floor was sticky. Stairs and floors were muddy. I was hoping to smooth it over with my spouse, so we went to dinner. When we came back, she was still uncomfortable with the cleanliness. I told her our experience. I asked for a refund. She said we already used the room. I told her we didn't. Asked for refund, and told her I'd she couldn't take care of it, I would go through Expedia. They tried, but the manager wouldn't budge. I will not use Days inn ever again. I am disappointed in the response to my refund request.

The policy is that you cannot cancel on the same day. You checked in. When you have 47 rooms full of people and it rained, the walkways do get dirty. As I recall, you told me your issue was the bed was not made neatly. nothing other than that was said.

This hotel/motel was gross. I booked my room online on expedia, I also booked a room for my mom. When my mom got to her room she found a weapon near her bed. She brought it to the lady downstairs and the lady proceeds to tell her they’ve found other weapons left in the rooms as well. All while this old front desk lady has an attitude. Not only that, when I got to my room, the sheets had hair on them, very tiny hairs, not from your head. Then I got to the bathroom and the toilet seat has the sanitized sticker on it yet it had dry stains on the toilet seat. I proceed to go to the office and get new sheets for the bed, then tell them the toilet is dirty and I wanted some kind of reimbursement or something for the dirty room. They did not offer me a different room even though when I called Expedia to complain they told them they did offer me a room. Lies. Then I find what looks like boogers on the wall. They refused to give me any kind of compensation or a new room. The old lady at the front is rude, and the owner could care less about his disguising hotel. I spoke with him too and completely unhelpful. I spoke to Expedia and the days inn customer representatives and they were supposed to give me points on my account to make up for the disguising room. Mind you this is over Fourth of July weekend when there are no other hotels that are available. 0/10 stars if I’m. Being honest. Competely disgusted with the hotel, room, and lack of customer service.

Sorry you had a bad experience. The reason I said anything to you about finding anything in a room, like a knife, was to let you know we hand it over to the police. We could not offer you another room because we were full and nothing available. As for the owner, he came down and cleaned your room with his wife. Sorry you think I have an attitude. I do not but to be heard through plexiglass I have to talk loud and sorry my age bothers you. The housekeeper missed your room and we are sorry for that.

We stayed for 3 nights here. Very clean!! Staff were nice, polite and friendly. Always greeted us with a smile. Room was excellent, bed was comfy and the towels were softer than any hotel I have ever been in. Stay here, you will not regret it.

Area for breakast is small and crowded. Coffee pot needs to be moved out of the corner.. Room is nice and adequate, bed was comfortable. The door was missing part of deep bolt lock. Fan in bath is loud, a/c is loud. Needs more updated plugs around bed area. Room has no click.

The issue was repaired on the door. Unfortunately we do not have central air and the wall units are not silent. As you know the breakfast area is small.

Property is dog friendly however there is no place to walk or exercise your dog. Had to walk down the street for a bit to find grassy area.

They turned the AC off while we were out. It was 95 degrees and we came back to a hot room after being outside most of the day. We pay for our room to be comfortable.

As you can tell, we are not a five star resort. We meet every standard Wyndham requires of us. We are a reasonably priced facility that is clean and maintained.
