“Great place to stay right on the river”

Stayed from Friday night to Monday morning. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room was large with two beds, but they seemed a little small for queen beds. The hotel itself was easy to find and near the riverwalk and bridge, Austin Peay, and all the restaurants and shopping you could need. We walked to the river bridge and never drove more than 10-15 minutes to get anywhere we went. On Saturday mornings the farmer market is in the parking lot next door. The closest thing to a problem was that of the two elevators only one was working so there was sometimes a wait to ride, but then there were 100 or more people staying there for a family reunion along with some college students whose apartment building wasn't ready. Breakfast is served until 10:00 and was sausage; gravy; biscuits; eggs; waffles; English muffins; various cold cereals; fresh fruit; yogurts; packaged bars, donuts, muffins and other sweets; coffee, milk, juices, etc. There was a restaurant onsite; we didn't go there but the menu looked appealing. We'll probably stay there again the next time we're in Clarksville.

“A very run down hotel. Only thing going for it is location.”

Not at all consistent with the photos and statements on their web site. Our overall room - carpet, furniture, HVAC, windows, etc was well overdue for an upgrade and update. While it is very convenient for the purposes of our visit we will not stay there on future visits.

“Not as Expected”

The room that I reserved was non-smoking; there were none available at check in so my options were to cancel or accept a non-smoking room. Unforturnately cancelling was not an option so I ended up w/clothes that smelled like smoke and a 'river view' through a filthy window.
