The property accommodation was ok on the upper level, but the ground floor badly needed upgrading. Dinner was very good. Was not happy that breakfast was not available.

Loved the smell of the room, minimalist design, olden style interior. We absolutely loved the bathroom, spa was Great and the old style basin was awesome, along with the mood lighting and wifi!

The rooms are spacious, clean with off street parking. The hotel is joined with easy access and a huge range of delicious foods on offer. Location was perfect for our stay. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The room was comfortable and clean. Central to Clare main shopping and Clare valley for touring. Food was lovely with it just at our door step.

Very central location on the Clare main street. Great meal in the Bistro and very convenient parking alongside our room - especially in the morning when it rained! The only negative was that the mattress was a bit soft.

Excellent overnighter
Check-in was easy in the Hotel. The rooms are adjacent with off street parking. The room was large and clean. The TV was also large which was a nice surprise.

Great comfy bed and amenities in room. Left a note regarding no plug for basin and1 knife missing. Toilet area should have a hand grab rail for the elderly. Toilet very low. We are both over 90 yrs.

The staff were unhelpfully. Poor communication skills, lack of care. Services supposedly being offered a reception from phone in room answered with no response, phone left on counter unanswered. No door indication when staff only allowed. Passable food. No kettle & coffee or tea facilities in room. Wonderfully comfortable bed, excellent new bathroom! Bed not enough incentive to return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was a busy holiday weekend, they found time to help the guests. The restaurant attached to the hotel is lively with great food. Excellent wine selection too (as you would expect for the region HAHA)

Lovely room although we booked a downstairs room and got booked into an upstairs room. Made for hard work lugging an ebike up stairs! Would've been terrible if one of us was in a wheelchair

Don't stay if you want clean bathrooms
It is definitely a budget accommodation and no surprise it was cheapest available on the website by a fair way. The room was fine, bed was good and plenty of pillows. Rooms size was good too. Big, BIG issue is the "bathroom". It is more like a poor quality public bathroom in a park or public pool. Cracked and dirty concrete walls, cobwebs all over the windows and bugs around. I stayed two nights but I decided not to use the shower. The tap was faulty and there was bug spray on the vanity. Ironic thing was they do housekeeping daily, which is great to come back to a made bed but why don't they clean the bathroom?!?! Check-in was good and quick. Parking is a bit hit and miss but plenty of parking on the street.

The room was clean and very comfortable although a luggage rack and the tea and coffee set up on top of the counter would have been more convenient. My only real annoyance was that th other rooms cars were spread widely in the small parking area and we could not get a park even close on the street. Lines to keep more available parks would have been helpful.
