This Hotel is within walking distance of the US Consulate and Medical offices. The area is pretty secure, Juarez is a dangerous place. I felt OK there with my family. There is a Denny's right next to the Hotel and the Mall across the street is nice and clean. I would not suggest being out at night. Handle your business, stay in the hotel and get out of there as soon as possible. This hotel gets an A+ They offer free breakfast in the morning and have a shuttle service to airport and bus terminals.

“perfect for consulate goers”

i couldnt have picked a better hotel for my stay in juarez to go to the american consulate and the clinic. It is just a block away and in a pretty safe sorrounding, with restaurants banks and a plaza almost at your door. the people in the hotel are very nice, helpful and courteous. They even get you a taxi to go to the border! my room was very comfortable and had all the services necessary, specially the free internet and iIlove the fact that they had coffee whenever you wanted, for free, a nice comlilmentary continental breakfast and happy hour with free beers in the afternoon!!! After sitting for hours in those places that is a nice refreshing treat. Overall i was very happy with my selection of this hotel, thank you

WE STAYED FOR 9 DAYS!! A REALLY LONG TIME BUT WE HAD AN APPT IN THE CONSULATE.. VERY CLOSE TO THE MEDICAL CLINIC AND THE CONSULATE. DENNYS AND WENDYS ARE NEXT DOOR SO YOU DONT HAVE TO GO TOO FAR FOR FOOD.. A MALL IS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET.. THEY HAVE A BUNCH OF FOOD TOO.. THE ROOMS ARE NICE, THEY HAVE COMPUTERS FOR U TO USE WHENEVER WHICH WAS HELPFUL, THE HOTEL IS CLEAN, THE PEOPLE AT THE RECEPTION KNOW ALOT ABOUT IMMIGRATION ISSUES, THEY ARE WILLING TO HELP IF U ASK.. THEY HELPED US WITH TAXIS, VISA STAMPING AND EVEN A RIDE TO THE EL PASO AIRPORT.. I WOULD RECOND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE THAT HAS A APPT AT THE CONSULATE AND WANTS A WALKING-DISTANCE HOTEL..

“Excellent location, safe and affordable”

I stayed in Microtel for 4 nights and had a great smooth experience. They offer free breakfast from until 10 am. I felt very safe, and the embassy and clinic for visa services were walking distance. The mall and dennys were also right across the street. I don't have any complaints about the hotel. There is no food inside, only a vending machine. However, there is a taco place that delivers to the hotel. Overall ...great experience!

Great hotel, great service. Highly recommend. Great area in Cd. Juarez. Everything is near Hotel (Medical Center & US Consulate). Shopping center is near by where you have everything there & at great prices. There is plenty of security and you can walk without fear.
