18th Century Cottage - 4 mins Soho Farmhouse

Stoneleigh Cottage is a charming Grade II Listed, 18th Century cottage situated in the idyllic Cotswold village of Sandford St Martin; a stone's throw from Great Tew & Soho Farmhouse.

Soho Farmhouse is a 5 minute drive from the cottage. If you’d prefer to walk, it would take 15 minutes through Sanford Park.

Sandford St. Martin is a small, attractive village of honey-coloured stone cottages, some with stone tiled roofs and some with thatch. In the centre of the village on a small triangular green and nearby is Sandford Park, the most prominent house in the village.

It's an ideal base for visiting the Cotswolds, Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Silverstone, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon, or relaxing after a day's shopping in Bicester Village.


The space

The cottage has all of its original features and has recently been refurbished with modern shabby-chic design. The comfortable open plan living area boasts a wood-burning stove, 2 sofas, a 50” TV with Freeview TV. There is also a toilet/cloakroom and a dining area that seats 4 people. The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher & fridge freezer.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms; Master bedroom with a double bed, storage, a 32" Freeview TV and on suite shower room. In the 2nd bedroom there is an additional double bed, storage and access to the main bathroom where there is a wardrobe and storage. All bedding is Egyptian Cotton with feather duvets and pillows.

The cottage has private, landscaped, gardens with a BBQ and seating area that you are welcome to enjoy in the summer evenings.

Ideally this would suit maximum 4 adults or a small family.
There is a luxury inflatable bed should it be required.
You will be required to use your own towels & food.
Minimum stay is 2 nights
Please contact us if you would like to bring a well behaved dog with you.
Checkout Monday – Saturday is 12pm.
The weekend rate is £150 per night but you are welcome to stay all day on Sunday, as long as there are no guests coming in that day.

Fantastic cottage

Lovely and convenient cottage
This is a very nice cottage that is very close to other vilages and sites it the Cotswolds. It had everything we needed and is very charming. We enjoyed our stay very much.
