“average”

The room was comfortable, pillows flat. Stair way was very dirty. But room was fairly clean.

“Cheyenne, WY Super 8, by I-25”

Very conveniently located right off of I-25, and close to town. There is a train track that runs close to the hotel, but we enjoyed hearing the faint whistle of the train in the background. This is not a luxury hotel, but it also doesn't have luxury prices. The room was clean, the service was friendly and the price was just right. My wife and I stayed for a 3 day getaway and we felt very secure and comfortable here.

Area recommendations
Downtown area - Try out Pizzeria Venti for great food and service. Also, R&B Restaurant is great for breakfast and lunch. Del Range Drive (about 2 miles from motel) has all of the modern stores, restaurants, mall and movie theater.
When to go
Any time except winter. I understand the winters can be harsh in Wyoming.

“Trains,trains,trains”

It is close to the RR tracks. A train came through and sounded the horn every 45 minutes .

“ok”

A few times night trains blew their horns at a crossing. Food was OK. Place seemed a bit tired but it's not hard to find or far from the hwy.

“Get a room if you like sleeping on rail road tracks.”

The hotel is right on the train tracks. The room was dirty. The tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. It was covered in mildew and hair. The entire hotel smelled like smoke including our non-smoking room. The beds were hard. On a positive note we didn't get bed bug bites. Don't be deceived by the nice pictures of the lobby. This place is a dump.

“Avoid this Super 8”

Lousy location next to train tracks - they allow pets and the smell of dog or cat urine lingered in the halls and in our room. Beds were lumpy and pillows were flat. I would avoid this place and am sure better accommodations can be found for teh same money.

“hotell too close to railtrack”

This hotel provided good value for money. Unfortunately it (and other hotels in this area) are adjacent to a railroad and there are continuous long goods trains running all night with frequent whistle blowing while you try to sleep.

Area recommendations
Cheynne is a small town / City that is clean and good to wander around. Good for an overnight stayy if passing through but those trains!!!!

“definitely stay there again”

As I said above, we really enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful. Your breakfast bar was well stocked and one of the staff put it out early for us as we were leaving before it opened. It just was one more example of above the average care of your guests.

Area recommendations
stayed at the lincoln road super 8. we didn't explore the neighborhood much. it was fairly quiet and close to the highway we came in on but couldn't hear it.
